I've always preferred this place before Guanachapi's on Moody St which is a mess but the last two times I've visited this place and noticed the food they serve is reheated in a microwave, this last time I had to ask the waitress to reheat the food, but obviously it is not the same and I decided on rice with beans, because the meat and seafood were still cold, lately I have noticed that the parking lot is completely empty and there are not so many people who visit this place to eat with family, when you enter you only see people in the bars drinking liquor but it's not like before.
Good food, good value, okay service.
I order the mexican torta i was surprise when i see what they send me, the plate only came a with a few fries and the torta was smaller than usual, consideren that i order very often from them that was so disappointing, i hope they read my review and do something about the quality.

Food was not bad, but the service was atrocious. Our order was missing a dish. When we called in the order, the woman asked how are we going to pay. We told her that we'll pay with card, but when we arrived to the restaurant, they said, we can only pay cash. To make a long story short, we won't be ordering there again.The only reason we are giving them 2 stars is that the food was half descent.But definitely will not recommend this place to anyone.
It is sad not to find a Hispanic restaurant to enjoy with the family, they are always of poor quality and for drunks. This place is for drunk people. And rather than a restaurant it is like a low-class disco. I went to pick up my food half an hour later and had to wait about 40 minutes inside the restaurant. It should have been ready just to pick up. They asked me several times what food I ordered and told me several times that they were still packing it. While waiting a drunk man fell on a table with people. They finally took my credit card but they never came back, and I had to go to the disco to look for my credit card. The service is very bad, they did not want to bring the food to the car as a curbside pick up service, as most restaurants do during the pandemic. It is horrible, dark, full of people without masks or keeping their distance.
Guanachapis is becoming one of my favorite places when I crave for Latin food. Tasty and generous portions.
I visit this great restaurant from time to time! This is my favorite restaurant to grab a bite. I visit this spot routinely. The cooking is excellent, the staff is friendly and the payment is reasonable. I like meeting in this place for a nice supper.
