A great selection of gluten free options! Especially fried foods like the seafood platter! Delicious short rib dinner. Clam app was amazing! Dessert is a must. S’mores sunday (not gf) is amazing. Our server Briana C was awesome!!!
I came here for Cinco de mayo which was cool, they had a live band which was nice. My first bartender was great, but the manager? Took my drink order which was 15 year scotch neat and took over 10 minutes to get someone else to pour it for me into a dirty glass. They did get me another after a complained. A for atmosphere, C for service.
My husband and I went here for lunch. We liked the idea of being able to reserve a table outside. However, when we arrived, the two seater tables were right on the sidewalk, with people walking by quite closely. We opted to eat indoors instead. We sat at a table in the front, that was a separated enough from the other table so we felt comfortable. Our intentions were to have Tacos, but we first ordered the Sheet Pan Nachos, which included Tortilla Chips, Pico de Gallo (not much) Guacamole (not much), cheese (a good amount) Scallions, and we opted for the Baja Aioli on the side, instead enjoying our Nachos with Sriracha Hot Sauce. We also chose the roasted vegetables (which were very good and plentiful). The restaurant was busy but the Nachos still took a long time to come out. As suspected, they were warm but not really hot.
Went for Dinner and I really enjoyed both the service and the Bistro Cheese Burger.Our Server was very attentive, even though she had a large Birthday Party she was also taking care of.I will say that the venue is a bit loud, but if a noise doesn't bother you, you should be good.I was impressed with how large the bar area was as well.I had the Colombian buñuelos for dessert, I highly recommend them!!
I took my team here for a internal work dinner on a Wednesday and they were so happy with the food, atmosphere AND the service provided. The restaurant was not too loud on this particular day.I frequent Bistro781 a lot since I live close by but the business travelers were so excited to learn about this spot. We just moved offices so you made that transition a little bit easier!
Both times that I've been here both the service and food have been fantastic! The drinks are fun and creative. I got the fish tacos for both occasions and loved them each time. Great spot in Waltham.
What a lovely experience! We live in the neighborhood but hadn’t stopped in until tonight. The drinks were amazing, the food was delicious (and so colorful!), and the service was impeccable. And the full vegetarian/vegan menu was just such a treat - I’m not used to so many options! All in all, a can’t miss on Moody Street. We’ll be back soon!
Celebrated my husband‘s birthday with a Sunday brunch. Every choice was delicious, many vegetarian options for me and my daughter, and great atmosphere! We have a new brunch fave!
My wife and I have been going to Bistro781 for years.They do so many things really well. The menu is great, the drinks are constantly changing with the seasons, there are specials like $1 oysters etc.We know Jeff (owner) and one thing that really stands out is how much the staff actually likes each other (and their customers). They are always cheerful, helpful, professional, etc.Go sit at the bar and have some food, you won't be disappointed.
Love this place! The food is creative, house made and so yummy. Located on vibrant Moody Street in the middle of the action. And the staff is the ultimate example of how teamwork makes the dream work. Everyone does their job happily!
