If ever looking for that Greek style pizza, this is the place! I come to Moody often, and this was the first time at Athens. My friends used to go frequently back 20 years, and they would be satisfied, but I never went. I grew up with Greek style pizza, and actually miss it because most of the pizza shop owners have retired, so there isn't a place as authentic as this one. The counter boss handed me a slice, and I dug into it. I appreciate that he cut it for me. Then as I waited for my pastrami, I got another slice. Both good, seasond with Parmigiano, the crust was crispy, and the cheese light with a little grease, the way I love it! The pastrami was great, I shared it with my mom, and it was filling. We will be back to try other items on the menu!

I was working for doordash, I saw employee grab pita with bare hands, and the order is at least 5 mins late.
Man the people leaving bad reviews wouldn't survive living in NYC lol. "They were mean to me" ?. Go in, get your food, and go home lol.Is it a 5 star dining experience? No. It's the cheap no frills local sub spot on your block. Service is always fast, I've never had a problem with my food. Been a regular favorite of mine since moving here.
My big question is How does a restaurant with no grill or flattop make - Burgers,Steak and cheese, grilled chicken? ? ?

I bought 2 chicken tender meals on 10/10and when i returned home to eat them i found that they were pink on the inside and raw. My husband spent 30 min in the bathroom throwing up. when i went back to the restaurant to get my money back and ask for an explanation i was followed out of the establishment by the owner telling me that i better hope he doesn’t find out where i live and that he was going to “get me “.
I ordered a ham and cheese sub on 8-22-2021. And it was drowned in mayo. Making it almost impossible to eat. Bread sliding, completely disgusting. Below is what was left after struggling to eat it. “Never Again”

I absolutely love their pizza! Athens uses a more flavorful cheese than traditional pizza recipes. They also have a very crispy crust. We only have a few Greek pizza style restaurants at home that serve a similar pizza, so I look forward to my trips to Weston where I have an opportunity to snag a piece from Athens just a few towns over.
