Stopped for breakfast on a recent summer morning. If Granny's were in a major city, the line would be out the door. Here in Springfield there's little to no wait for Sonya & Todd's delicious treats. My husband had a couple Quiche, so got some protein. I was lucky enough to get the last Kouign Amann (If you've never had one, you have to taste this melt-in-your mouth delight) and an almond bear claw. (No grill.) Poured over coffee is very good.
Always look for local baker and this is what I found. Friendly, happy and pastries SO good! Order the beignets- worth the trip in itself.
What a charming find in the heart of Springfield. Great home made pastries and freshly ground/brewed coffee. Scones, cakes, pies and beignets all made on the premises.

Delicious baked treats! Small batch baking at its best. Pinwheels, croissants and scones are each scrumptious. A surprising find tucked away on Bridge street in downtown Springfield. Can’t wait to try food from the lunch menu!
This is by far the best place in Massachusetts to grab a tasty baked good. Always fresh and super friendly. The beignets are to die for and the oh lawdy sandwich is the best chicken sandwich you will ever eat!
Granny's is our favorite bakery to visit! Beignets are delicious! Even better then our New Orleans beignets. Tried a kouign amann for the first time today. It melted in my mouth! Will definitely be adding that to our beignet orders in the future! Previously, I had the pulled pork sandwich on the homemade biscuits. No more hamburger buns for me! Trust me! If you are in Springfield or any local area (we come from Chicopee) you must stop to eat these delectable fresh bakery foods!

I love Granny's! The quiche in the morning are my favorite! better get there early so you don't miss out. It is always the perfect temperature, velvety texture. and delicious buttery crust. I had a pour over coffee this morning and the flavor was bold and delicious. I may just have to swap out my beloved Starbucks for this delicious blend. Check them out!
