Good, not great. Annoying if you like Chinese Dumplings as they serve Japanese pot stickers instead of boiled dumplings. Yuck. Confusing as this is a Chinese restaurant.
The rice tasted like straight up grease. No flavor. Chicken fingers are like cardboard. The ribs were ALL fat, non edible. Egg roll wasn't bad though. I wouldn't feed this food to my dogs. I'm not one to be picky nor ungrateful & if i pay for something & do not like it, i will still eat it because i hate wasting money but how dare the food be so bad to the point you can not eat it. Its all old i swear to god. Not sure if this place has real Chinese people working BUT do better guys. Hit up main kitchen and taste there's. You'll deff have better ratings and prolly more buisness.
The broccoli chicken and rice is so good the people that work there are super nice never get my order wrong it's really good
I placed my order online. They completely ignored my requests and gave me the wrong order. They were very rude and left things out of the order as well. Simple requests such as please send soy sauce with order please.
*Ordered through GrubHub*Before even placing the order I read the reviews and knew what I was possibly getting into and have them a shot anyways. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality that matched and matched ichiban expectations, but definitely far better than other joints I’ve tried around the area. Items I ordered were the plain lo mein, sweet & sour chicken combo. The plain lo mein was delicious. The sweet & sour chicken combo was superb. The pork fried rice almost had a puerto rican rice taste and the sweet & sour sauce was spot on, comparable to Debbie wong. As a person with Crohn’s, everything digested nice and will be ordering again very soon!
I am not one to typically give a place a one star but considering the following I cannot help it:1. I checked my temperature immediately after eating because I thought the only plausible explanation was that I must be getting the virus because there was absolutely no taste to the food. No fever and all household members confirmed; just absolutely the most bland food we've ever tasted.2. Something is needed to offset whatever bots are providing reviews for this place via grubhub and doordash because both of those delivery services have this place rated at 4.5+ (which was why we ordered) but their quality of food was clearly not in line with those reviews!
They don't even deserve one star. Female owner is extremely rude. She'll literally just hang up while you're trying to order if she can't understand you instead of actually trying to hear what you're saying. Not worth the money. Food quality will give you diarrhea & a stomach ache
I've been here three times.1st time, food was terrible.2nd time, rice & Gen chicken was awesome, egg roll was too cold to eat.3rd time, temperature was not very hot, lo mein was excellent. He says chicken curry was good, I'm posting a pic of something icky looking from it. What is this jellied slimy stuff? There were a few sheets of it.
Broccoli was covered in black mold spots, rice was hard and all the food I ordered tasted like it was fried in the same oil, including the donut balls. Everything tasted like onion and old oil. I don’t usually like to leave bad reviews, but I’d like to warn others that this food is not worth spending your money on!
Worst Chinese food in Springfield hands down they couldn’t even get shrimp and broccoli and PLAIN lo mein right not to mention NOTHING tasted fresh especially the spare ribs that tasted old and were inedible. If I could give these ppl zero stars I would, this place needs to be shut down !!!!
