I really don’t enjoy this place, the customer service is awful. The food is no longer enjoyable or put together with proper care. Everything is rushed. The employees are also prejudice. They don’t like to seat minorities. I’ve heard them say it myself they said minorities supposedly “don’t tip”. They hire young s*xualized women as if it’s hooters when this is a more family-friendly establishment, just so they can get more money for dinner & happy hour. It’s very inappropriate. Hire more adults and you’ll receive more adult quality service & food. Just saying.
It just sucks... The wait, service, food the place has just gone from excellent to poor over the years. Not to mention the many managers and staff they've been through. Hopefully they get their act together or they are going to be the next restaurant to close like olive garden down the street...?
I came here with two of my friends, and we sat at the bar. Kelly took awesome care of us! I ordered the Rock and Berry Rita, and my friend ordered the Long Island. We didn't end up getting entrees because we got full on our appetizers. We ordered the loaded fries and the pretzel! Both were really good. Solid place to get a meal and relax!
This Applebees that is located on Boston Road in Springfield MA is complete and utter disgrace to the Applebees franchise! This is the second time that I have ordered from here and received BURNT disgusting food! This is the Bourbon Street Chicken and shrimp that I ordered! Take a look at the picture! Who would serve this to ANYONE? Let alone a PAYING CUSTOMER!! This is utterly disgusting! You spend your hard earned money, to treat yourself to a dinner and have this be what someone serves you! I am truly disappointed with this location and this franchise! I know this post may not do much in ways of hurt the money going into these owners pockets, but we are living in very difficult times for many Americans! So I am posting this for the person who has their hard earned money, and maybe thinking about stopping by this location to treat themselves to a meal! This is my advice!! DON’T!!! ABSOLUTELY DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY AT THIS LOCATION! Keep driving and find another restaurant that takes pride in not only what they do but what they serve! And trust me there are plenty options! Try your best not to make the mistake I did stopping at the APPLEBEES on Boston Road in Springfield MA!
This is my fourth time at the Springfield Applebees location. Jada was my server 3/4 time and she is amazing, friendly, respectful, jovial and awesome waitress. The Manager Tony is an awesome person, he is very respectful and friendly. I’d always visit here and recommend anyone here. Love the service here.
I love Applebee's! Today I had really good service and excellente' half rack of ribs. And The desert was Delicious! Only taste and pic. can really best describe my food!
Manager Paul, was very nice and accommodated our party if 20 adults and 8 children to celebrate our dad's bday!!! ?..staff was friendly and patience..
My sister and I Went there to Enjoy the Half price Appetizers and drinks. No one greeted us at the door until 5 Minutes later, no big deal. The hostess went to seat us and the Table was dirty from previous guests. The floors all around us were also A Mess. The hostess told us to give her a minute so she can clean up. We decided to go to the Bathroom to kill time and They were disgusting and unkept, At that point we decided to leave. I’m only giving two starts because they’re food is usually Decent at best.
Literally had to give this place a one star just to be able to write this review, first and foremost if you want good decent food , don’t even waste your time, money or energy at this place , it actually was a decent restaurant prior to COVID , Since COVID Hit they can’t get the meals correct to save their life. I’m not sure if the cook isn’t paying attention on how things should be made , , I just ordered a chicken Alfredo with “ Extra Sauce” and receive the most driest pasta meal Ever!! Not to mention i was charged additional for “ Extra Sauce” i never received in my pasta , it doesn’t even taste like Alfredo , I’m actually done giving your establishment my hard earned money, i will travel to Chicopee instead in the future if need be , since last month you guys have been messing up on meals you see every week, how could that even be possible? Horrible service. Horrible place and to think Olive Garden went out of business and this place still stands? How?
The food is applebees but what makes this place unbearable is their manager. Bald headed Paul just loves to talk politics on the job and makes sure that every guest knows Covid is in fact a hoax. Super unprofessional and he's the reason Applebees won't be receiving another dime from me.
