This was our first time here and a truly laughable experience. Both croissants were overcooked to burnt, and, it turned out, stale. We couldn't even bite the chocolate one it was so hard. The two spinach and feta empanadas looked completely different (and seemed to have more corn than cheese).I couldn't believe someone actually served these items.

I got a drink and it was very delicious. They seem to have a wide verity of snacks and sandwiches. The staff were very nice, I’ll definitely go back.

Tons of flavors of tea, Ecuadorian empanadas, and a lovely little patio

The ambience is lovely. Lots of space to work and free wifi. The coffee is decent but the food is just alright. Nothing to write home about. A few things are decent. Still, a nice neighborhood spot we frequent and generally enjoy.

For such a great location at the end of a bike/pedestrian trial this place was very disappointing. Lemon cake and cinnamon rolls we got here were worse than what I can get in a gas station. Coffee was okay. The place looks adorable and maybe the fresh food is better but I didn't want to wait for that to be made since there was a long line waiting

First impression is, looks like an awesome place to work from! Very cozy, clean, and warm vibes—though maybe the barista wasn't having a good day, or maybe it's a cultural difference where you don't really greet the client and just wait from them to state their order. ?? Not the end of the world, but was a bit awkward for me to stand there.Anyway, latte wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. Looking to try other drinks maybe a straight up black coffee to determine.Got two empanadas (beef and pork) which look amazing so I'm excited to try them out!Parking is a bit tough, there's some non-residential parking if you park two blocks away on an adjacent street, but it's very very limited.Noise level at least for a Thursday was not loud at all. Music was kept at a super reasonable level where you can hear yourself think given the amount of people—other cafes tend to go a little wild with music selection and volume.I'd give a 4.5 if I could and not a 4 for everything.

I live within a very short walk of Zaruma, and I find myself here all the time! Their coffee is phenomenal, the ever changing menu of pastries never disappoint, and don't get me started on their empanadas. I'm literally eating one as I'm typing this review!Ditch your favorite coffee chain and spend your money more wisely on a small business. Since I moved here over a year ago and started going to Zaruma, I have yet to turn back to Starbucks coffee.
