I love that Union square donuts has vegan options. We got a few for a picnic this weekend. We loved the flavors but this time the donuts were very oily. This is unusual for them so I was a bit disappointed. Will definitely try them again since they are usually really good.
GONE AND DIED AND ENDED UP IN SUGAR HEAVEN ????. So many to choose from I wish I could bring one of each home ? but I don’t want or need diabetes ??♂️?. But absolutely delicious
The best ?? all over ?, super tasty and love that have also a vegan donouts.
In my opinion, they look better than they taste. The birthday cake donut tasted like a vegan version, which if you’re into is totally cool. But the chocolate frosting was too bitter and the donut itself tasted like if sourdough bread had a baby with a bagel. The raspberry was redeeming but not enough to actually finish it. The flan was a sticky mess and tasted like sourdough with pudding inside. Maybe I’m just not used to the donuts up here, but for the price I felt whelmed. The hot chocolate tasted homemade, but watered down. All in all not worth the price for anything we tried. The staff was nice though.
Sea Salt Caramel was tasteless and the Honey Glazed tasted like watered down icing on bread. For the local hype of this place and almost $3.00+ for a single donut, your better off going to Dunkins down the street and getting a better tasting donut than this overpriced, bland tasting experience here. Staff is nice though I’ll give them that.
Good, but pricey like everything else...
I simply don't understand the good reviews here or how this place can possibly be rated so high. The donuts are terrible! Overpriced and dried. And the clientele I always see in line are some of the trashiest people. And then there's all those rats you always see running around outside. No thank you. I will just make the drive to Honeydew instead.
33$ for a half dozen of donuts and a small coffee. My husband, 13yr old daughter and myself were not impressed- I was so amped to try it. I don't understand the 4.6 on the reviews.. but to each is own- I will definitely stick to Donut Villa in Malden or Doughboy Donuts in Boston.
So, I looked for 40 minutes for the best rated donut shop in Boston (was willing to drive anywhere). I found this place had the most reviews averaging best overall rating. I was so excited to go try their donuts, I got there and loved I didn't have to go inside in a crazy line due to COVID. Cashiers were so sweet, but the donuts? Hated them. They had the strangest aftertaste and I love donuts, no matter what kind, nor am I too picky. I paid 16 something, without the tip. I didn't mind too, too, much; the reviews seemed worth it. They were so bad I only forced myself to eat half because I paid to much. I got their version of a buttercrunch, glazed, caramel creller (spelling?), and salted carmel. I am so disappointed ?. I couldn't even force myself to eat them...they do look great though ?♀️ definitely Instagram worthy. 2 ? is only for the nice cashier.
