It depends what your looking for. We were looking for a place to eat in Somerville after 11pm. Not many choices. It was quite loud and too dark but the kitchen was open and the food was very good. In the same situation I would certainly go there again. I would also go in just to have a beer on a weeknight.
Unassuming from the front, Trina's might not catch your eye. You might miss it entirely if you're zooming by. But don't let the humble facade fool you...this place has the absolute best vibes. Affordable, yummy food and drink (how can you beat $11 cocktails?!). Kitschy, fun decor. Cool, friendly service. A great place for a chill hang with genuine people.
First time here with my husband! Super impressed with the food, atmosphere, staff, etc. We shared the burger and fried chicken entree. Both were delicious! Would come back again.
Terrible spot. So loud it's often too difficult to hear. No outdoor seating. Literally could not even introduce myself to my date before the waitress started badgering us about ordering food. Another waiter kept interrupting our conversations very abruptly, making it impossible for it to flow. At least four times in the span of the first ten minutes of the date.
Tried the Veggie Plate -- SOooo good. And the corn bread was le dessert. Had to order a second piece (they're huge) to take home. My daughter and I highly recommend Trina's for quality diner food.
great cocktails, and entrees. appetizers were too small for the price. a bit too expensive overall, but great service and a cool atmosphere.
Gives off dive vibes with it's dark lighting and classy pin-up posters(in a good way). Trina's takes your expectations through the roof. Everything on the menu always hits home. The drinks are fantastic, the servers nice and friendly. It can get pretty busy so make sure to order an appetizer.
I loved everything about this place: food, drinks, staff, vibes! I found this oasis while on a vacation we friends. The Fried Chicken meal was tasty, affordable, and shareable. We loved it so much that we visited twice during our stay! Before we knew it, we were there for 2-3 hours each night. I’m happy to support this LGBTQIA+ establishment as well. I would definitely go back and recommend to friends in the area!

I wish I could give this place 6 stars!! every single thing the table got was absolutely delicious. our server, kayla, was the sweetest and most attentive server as well! overall, it was a great experience and i’m excited to become a regular here ?
