Will never order food here again, took hour and a half for them to prepare the food, the quality of food isn't great ither. Don't recommend.
Awful and inedible. I went here with my friends for a weekend lunch buffet and not only was the taste of the food completely bland and awful, some of it was also inedible. The potato stuffing for pani puri was spoiled and was stinking. We informed the person at the counter and she said she will replace. But the fact that it made it to the counter where people were getting their food is itself a big deal. Additionally, pani of pani puri was a giant block of ice thawing in the container. Chicken tikka masala was full of tomato taste, no paneer to be found in matar paneer and gulab jamun was overly sweet. Absolutely don't recommend it.
Terrible experience with the buffet. The taste isn't good as well. This restaurant is unhygienic and serves stale food. Unless you like to suffer from food poisoning, it's better to avoid this restaurant.
Updated:This restaurant is amazing! I went here for buffet, and they brought the dishes to the table as the regular style buffet is closed due to covid guidelines, so you might want to tell them beforehand about any dietary restrictions if you go for buffet. The food was so tasty, they had prepared each item fresh. The quality, quantity and the price, I am a fan! If you want to know what real North Indian food tastes like, this is a must try restaurant!Update: I am sad to write this update, but I went in with my friends for lunch buffet and we were all disappointed. The buffet is now usual style buffet, that’s okay, but the quality and the variety of the food has dropped significantly. The naans that were once amazing were this time like thick breads and not naans. And paani puri filling they had on the table was stale and stinking. And the paani puri “paani” was just a giant ice block that was thawing and had no flavour. I would usually give them benefit of the doubt, but these many issues cannot be overlooked.
awesome staff. personally, I think the food is off the charts. Garlic naan alone is worth a visit. my friend highly recommends the lamb kebabs. visiting with a friend with a brain tumor and they were incredibly accommodating. when he had trouble with things we take for granted, like cutting the meat, they took it back into the kitchen it sliced it all up for him. A-1 eats. unpretentious, the food speaks for itself
I feel they on purpose send wrong items if you are ordering late night. Happened twice with me, when I ordered through Uber Eats at around 9PM. The food tastes horrible too. There are a lot of other Indian places around the area, try them instead of this place.
We ordered 2 kabab meals and an order of garlic naan. We ordered through Uber Eats, and the delivery was within the allotted time. But, when we opened the order the meals were not there. There was a container of rice, a container of sauce (not sure what that was for) the garlic naan and a container with a few pieces of lettuce, a couple cucumbers and a few pieces of red onion. When I called the restaurant they initially apologized and said our food was there and that they had tried to call the Uber driver, but he didn’t answer. They said they would send it right out with their delivery driver and we should get it in 20 minutes. It has now been an hour and 15 minutes since I called the restaurant and we have yet to see our food.I gave the restaurant my phone number so the driver could call me when he got here so I could come out to get the food. I have called the restaurant 5-6 times beginning when it had been 35 minutes and they have yet to answer. It is now 9:34 pm and they close at 10 pm.I have to assume they are not bringing us any food. And at this point, if they did, it would surely be stone cold.Needless to say, I will not eat (or try to eat) at this restaurant again!
The best Indian cuisine I have experience in the US. This was my first visit to Boston and we went to eat our for dinner. The Indian restaurant is probably family owned which I really liked! It is located at a cross section near Harvard. We ordered Goat biyrani, Coke, and Malai chai. I really did not have much expecting about the place but my god everything was spot on! The biryani was so flavorful, the goat pieces were minced and the biryani had coriander leaves, chickpeas and other Indian spices which took me back to childhood! They also let us have complimentary chicken wings and pakoras as the order takes time to prepare. It was very nice of them! The malai chai was also superb, not too strong. Everything was priced very reasonably.I found one more reason to visit this place!
Used to be our favorite spot despite their missteps. Dahi ke kebab, chicken kofta and sheermal parantha was our staple there, very yummy. But things have gone downhill now. Chicken kofta was still good but had only 3 chicken meatballs, they ought to add more for the huge dish they serve. Dahi kebab was not available which was a bummer since all you need is basically yogurt and breading. So it makes me wonder that all this time they probably have been serving frozen ones in the past. Had Alu tikki which was pretty good but probably frozen too.The reason for 3 stars, they dramatically changed the recipe of sheermal. It’s a parantha made with butter and sugar and it used to be so delicious and yummy. But now the just serve plain roti with some ghee and sugar syrup on top. That’s like going to a steakhouse, asking for ribeye medium and getting over done McD pattyAlso, they got rid of any semblance of service for dine in so at least saved me all the tip money. The heat is too high and the tables are dirty.
Had the buffet, which was $15 (+$1 tax). It was a little bit each of salad, vegetable pakora, rice, naan, butter chicken, chickpeas, palak paneer, and tandoori chicken.
