But crispy outside ? it’s amazing✨Mason Burger✨Pig Tails - first time try this, it’s actually very surprisingly good! I went there on 05/01/22 with more 4 people. I ordered the Nashville Hot Wings. When I had eaten almost everything I noticed that at the bottom of the basket there was a piece of wings that had already been eaten (leftover). Apparently they just added chicken on an old order. I got so perplexed that I didn't even complain at the time. I didn't want to leave the other 4 people at the table with the same disgusting feeling. It’s unbelievable.
The food was delicious. To start with our server seemed annoyed she had a table, but it all ended up okay. The kids devoured the fried chicken and the chicken and waffles were scrumptious ?
My roommate got their chicken and waffles and it was great. I got the grilled chicken sandwich and I would rate it a 3/5. Wish it had more substance than just a bun, aioli and chicken. Good but not exceptional. Their potato salad was OK. The service was OK.
The bartender is amazing! All of recommendations he made were so delicious. He told us he made created the infused drinks we had. I would definitely recommend spending time at the bar.The food was also amazing. It may seem a bit pricey, but the portions are huge! You definitely get what you pay for.
It's a NO for me. I'M giving 3 stars because the atmosphere, service and ribs were good. The ribs were tender, falling off the bone with the right amount of sauce....everything else ?. We ordered the nashville hot chicken and thought we were being pranked...it's waaay too hot inedible. The waitress was great, came and took them away and replaced them with some regular fried chicken. Too much breading but very little flavor. The potato salad was big hard chunks, in some sort of dressing-terrible. The mac and cheese was ok, would have been better without the breadcrumbs. Kinda pricey...$75 for what you see below...no drinks.
Ordered the Mason Burger, the Chicken & Waffles, and the grilled cornbread. The cornbread and accompaniments (jam and honey butter) were delicious. The mason burger was pretty good, however it was a bit overcooked and I was never asked by the server how I wanted it cooked. The chicken & waffles were very tasty. The portion sizes were perfect and the prices were reasonable for the area.
Over fried and salty as heck...so disappointed after a long hiatus from a restaurant that I loved going to for fried chicken. It was so much better pre-pandemic. Won't be recommending this place for checking, but the Mac n cheese and biscuits were good.
Always like coming to this place. Fast service, even on busy weekend evenings and those fried chicken and biscuits....just amazing! Definitely try their pecan pie while you're there!
Service attentive. Food fantastic. I didn’t feel rushed and felt that I was given just the right amount of attention without the waiter being obsequious. This place is strategically located in the heart of Assembly Square. It’s my strongest recommendation for either lunch or dinner.
