Always a great place to grab a great meal. Cocktails, as much coffee you can drink, and fantastic food. The staff is always so nice and accommodating. A great place to go grab breakfast/brunch if you're local or out of state please take the time to stop by and grab a great meal.
Me and my sister and her husband came here for Brunch on Sunday, around 10:30am there was a line already, got in line and wasn't a long wait. We got a table with in 20 mins or so, the menu has a lot to choose from! I got the cornmeal pancakes and 3 sausage links and 3 over easy eggs, my sister got buttermilk pancakes with 3 over easy eggs and crispy bacon, and her husband got pancakes with strawberries & powdered sugar and 3 over easy eggs with Linguiça sausage well done. All pancakes where light fluffy and cooked perfectly cornmeal grilled tasted so good, the sausage links cooked just as requested really delicious, the Linguiça was delicious and cooked well done as requested, the bacon was crispy as requested (1 bacon strip wasn't) but the rest was just how my sister loves her bacon crispy and delicious it was! All eggs orders where cooked perfectly over easy can't ask for any better, we got raisin bread toast & my sis got wheat toast, toasted just right! The service was excellent the servers work well in a busy service rush the place was packed and a line growing outside. The self service station for fresh squeezed orange juice was refreshing! The cold brew coffee was great the have a endless selection of syrups flavors for your coffee, hot or tea also! I will be coming back to try something else on the menu! Check this spot out we had a great brunch and excellent service and the prices are reasonable!
I went in so excited…The worst, the service is not friendly at all. I had to ask if they were in a rush, the place was empty. But I was forced to leave in 30 minutes. I just sat there trying to enjoy my food. No demands, no extra asks, respectful. If your staff is hungover ask them to stay home. They are half your brand.The food is average, the french toast “caramelized” is anything but caramelized.For the service and food i got it was too expensive. If you want to charge extra, you have to be excellent at something.Go to their next door neighbor, Ball Square Cafe, consistent food and friendly service. Same priceRange for a much better experience.
Just a short drive from Tufts, this place offers a great breakfast and lunch spot with fresh ingredients quick service and a casual vibe that is inviting and fun. Choices are plentiful, portions are generous and prices are reasonable. A definite repeat for us as there are many things I didn't get to try.
Good brunch or daily breakfast. Good service. Amazing fruit bowl...literally have everything in it from kiwi, to mango, pineapples, strawberries, blueberries, apple. The chicken and waffles I had was ok. Overall good vibe and friendly wait staff. Definitely come to this neighborhood brunch/breakfast place often.
So I like breakfast a bunch. I can't say enough about the quality, competition and amount of breakfast nooks available in this area. As I type, it's been over 20 years that I've lived a couple of blocks away. The words are factual and easy to express. The Broadway Bowl is awesome and The Hash Plate is humble and yet breathtakingly gorgeous. There's a lot more to say about Soundbites and Ball Square as a whole, but that's a bit more than I will get into today. The only thing that is important, is to get together and get there quick. The line is way too long and way too quick to get that way.
