Good place. Music just a tad loud and chairs not so comfortable. But good place.
Cool, modern speakeasy with great cocktails and service. The 128 Press cocktail did not disappoint, and the bourbon and whiskey selection was impressive. The grilled cheese and tomato soup was also a hit!
Saloon has always been one of my favorite cocktail spots in the Davis area. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Cocktails are great and bartenders are legit

2 stars for it being a nice looking and designed space.-3 stars for high prices, high music volume (didn't match the "speakeasy" aesthetic, we were literally yelling at each other across our table), and highly rude staff (the guy wearing rainbow suspenders should either learn how to talk to customers or find a different industry to work).
The staff here is wonderful! The food was perfect - portions are a great sizing for sharing. How’d they make carrots taste so good?! Drinks were awesome too - lots of good craft beers!
Great place! Kinda gives a speakeasy vibe. Loved it. It was a little hard to find but impossible. The drinks were pretty good and reasonably priced. Staff allowed you to have conversation. I’ll definitely be back!
Really wonderful little out of the way space tucked away downstairs. Thoughtful cocktails and a small but well conceived menu. Close to the T and was worth the trip
I wish I learned the bartenders name - what an amazing experience. The food is pretty good but the drinks, atmosphere and service are the best.
We loved our experience at Saloon! The Rogue and the Cha Cha Cha were our favorite cocktails, but all of the drinks we tried were excellent and well-balanced. We would probably skip the crudo next time and try the oysters instead. We LOVED our burgers and fries. The service was incredibly friendly but a tad slow - it’s totally worth it for the quality of food and drink at Saloon. We will be back soon!
