Had a great time with grandkids and daughter. Ordered pizza while we bowled. Our first experience candlestick bowling. Daughter said it would be nice for a date night idea.
Different type of bowling if you want to call it that. Drinks at the bar were good size and fairly priced. Pizzas were reasonable and some veggie options on the menu.
I absolutely love this place. I've spent birthdays, date nights, and just any excuse to go. Cocktails are great, beer selection is significant, pizza is great, and I love candlepin. Don't ever change, Sacco's.
Candlepin bowling and Flatbread pizza. It was a beautiful bonding time. Spent an hour and came out happier and energetic... will definitely revisit.

I recently went to Sacco with a larger group of 60 people. Can’t say enough good things. Pizza was fantastic (and I’m a bit of a pizza enthusiast), bowling was so much fun, it was a great way to celebrate as a group. Best of all the service was fantastic. I lost my jacket and when I called to try and find it, the manager treated me like a true VIP. Lovely environment, even more wonderful team!
Beautiful place ! Cozy wood fired pizza with great coffee ! And ofcourse, bowling !!!!!Had never heard of the New England tradition of Candlepin bowling, all mechanical small ball bowling ! You won't find a fancy screen to keep scores , but you wouldnt want one either !... The sheer joy of playing as many turns to destroy the pins and then pressing a button to re-align the pins, is priceless !!!You get 2 hr slots , we waiting for 1.5 hrs to get out turn on a Saturday. But it was so worth it ! Great local beers on tap.Go with a few friends, hangout and have a great time ! Will def be back !
I always enjoy coming here. We bowled a few rounds and ate some of the best pizza in Davis square. My favorite is the buffalo chicken. It is nice and spicy hot and they sprinkle enough arugula on top to make it look healthy. We also ate a homemade sausage pizza with mushrooms.the cyst in both of these was crispy and chewy at the same time. Great texture. We went a little early and during an ice storm so it wasn’t too busy, usually there is a wait to bowl.The service was amazing (as usual) and we really enjoyed a nice evening there.
Best staff ever! Best pizza ever! Don't get me started in how good the brownie sundae is! They even have a gf/vegan brownie option that is one of the best we've ever had. When your friend is dairy allergy and you have to try everything on the table. ?
Don’t expect a covid-safety protocolsA couple wasn’t wearing masks and although I complained to the staff, they only offered us another lane, a bit far from them. Sanitizing stations at the lanes were empty… Awful.Apart from that, food and bowling are 5 stars.
