A great place to dine. Several options. I would recommend the fried scallops and the swordfish. The hard-working staff is very attentive and friendly.
Great little neighborhood fish place. Ate outdoors so can't speak for the noise level. First time I ate here it was indoors and there were few customers there, so noise there was no noise.

Over the top excellent!!! We have dined there every week for the past 10 years and the food is consistently delicious. Out of the Blue is the best fish restaurant by far in all of Boston and environs It is also very well priced and the portions are generous. The owners and wait staff are friendly and professional. The restaurant attracts long time Somerville and Cambridge residents along with college students and young professionals. A real eclectic mix. Most of their clientele is repeat customers which tells you that people are really satisfied and enjoy the experience of eating there!
Always great dining experience at Out of the Blue - but my advice is to go during the week to avoid the weekend crunch. Everything we've tried is great, but I really enjoyed the clams/linguine dish most recently, and the fried calamari is also a favorite. Of course, leave room for the tiramisu!
