Great takeout, and excellent dine in too. Love the papusas here, and the torta is one of our favorites. Great, crispy fries. If you enjoy the pollo asado or more classic dishes, the rice and beans served as the sides at Montecristo are so flavorful. Wonderful home style cooked food! A must try!

Great food, friendly attentive staff, and exceptionally reasonable prices. The baleadas are delicious, and the tacos and papusas are also delicious, and come with a fantastic salsa verde! Highly recommended, we will definitely be back!

Montecristo absolutely deserves 5 stars--I think the lower rated reviews are just from people expecting Mexican-American food for Qdoba palates.This place is the real deal. I was so happy to see them reopen after initially being closed for COVID. If you like authentic Salvadoran food or Central American food generally, you will be very happy you ordered here. Amazing food made with love, and it's a great value for to-go.I especially recommend the Plato Montecristo or the Super Desayuno plate. Both are so delicious and MASSIVE--one of these plates plus a pupusa order or two is usually enough for two people, or one person and awesome leftovers.
