Best pizza in Somerville; my favorite growing up and a must-eat when I visit. Their pepperoni pie rules!
This fine establishment is owned by family generations of professional, diplomatic, caring people. The food is delicious and has people coming to purchase from other states! I witnessed this numerous times. The owner, Melissa, is gracious and personable and makes sure everyone is satisfied. The 52+years in business only reaffirms my opinion. You'll see!✌
I really don't know what to say. I hate to trash a place that used to be legendary but they rob you blind with their prices and the lack of quality with their food. The large sub is the size of a small now. There are no prices on the menu anymore. That should tell you something. Sad thing is, I'm the manager of a very successful Marketplace on the South Shore that does a tremendous lunch business. I know food cost like the back of my hand and this is nuts! I've been going here since I was a kid, it's sad to see what it has become. Just when in for a "Large" Italian, slice of Calzone, 2 cans of soda....$21.00! So let's figure this out. I know the slice of calzone was $4.99, so if you charged $2.50 for a can of soda (which is ridiculous) that would be $10. That would mean my "large" Italian sub would be $11?!?! Huh? So sad to see. No wonder at 1:00pm on a Thursday it was dead. Matter of time until they close.
They have the worst service. Since new owners they are rude and hang up on you. Didn’t know it takes 2 hours to get a pizzza cold and old. Never will I order food from rude people.
I ordered a buffalo chicken calzon with tomato sauce on the side. They put it on the calzon and that is why I give 1 star, aside from the other problems.
Literally paid $17.59. However, online shows a whole difference price, for this little tiny bowl of grilled chicken ceasar salad… I thought if you paid to pick up would be cheaper than ordering online… smh yikes
Fabulous as always.Melissa and her crew are the best .The original recipe her dad used for his pizzas is still being used to this day . Absolutely delicious .
I moved here in 2015 through 2017 and the original owners were decent people. Now I found out that the owner passed. RIPIt's changed and I'm highly disappointed. I feel ripped off. Brought two steak bombs for 27 dollars. Terrible and no flavor or meat. I'll never go back. Ever. I don't recommend it for anyone with good sense.
So expensive when u order and they didn’t even cut my pizza. Had to cut it by myself.overall the pizza is really good.
