Terrible service. I ordered a 3 way beef at 7:39 pm. Finally around 8:05 I get it. Then to my luck, it is COVERED in Buffalo sauce. Not just a little, COVERED. Fine okay, I bring it back at they say 5 min. 30 minutes goes by, nothing. Finally get my sandwich an hour later. Good to go? Nope. Cold roast beef, cold bun (not toasted/grilled), and roast beef thick enough to stop a a bullet. Jesus. Absolutely do not recommend this place.
I had their white pizza with ricotta, truffle, squash and arugula, and we added bacon. Best decision I made that day. This pizza is unique with a flavorful crust. It’s so freaking good. Some of the best I’ve had. If you see this on the menu, GET IT (I’m sure the other stuff is good too but this was bomb and we couldn’t stop talking about it ?
Love bow market but I really LOVE hot box 3way roast beef sandwich!!! Cheese, sauce and mayo is a must!
Roni pizza was great. I don't know what bar style pizza is but will take your word for it. The roast beef was also great, rare, 3 way with spicy bbq sauce. Delicious, I ate way too much
Wow quality ingredients, the Superbeef was the best I've ever had. Proper onion roll (brioche?) which held shape and sponged the sauces. I'm grossed out by chewy bits and stringy roast beef - this was perfectly light pink, lean and moist. Thanks guys!

Now you don't have to travel to the S. Shore to get good bar pizza. Hot Box in Bow Market in Somerville has delicious S. Shore bar pizza and N. Shore roast beef sandwiches. I can only speak for the pizza, and I can say it is very good. The combination of sauce, cheeses and toppings is just right and of course it has the delicious crust and ring of baked on cheese around it that bar pizza is known for. Give them a shot sometime.
UberEats didn’t have all my order. I called Hotbox back to find out where the Super Beef was. Gentleman who answered the phone said he couldn’t deal with my problem right now because he had a large line waiting, could call me back in 15 minutes. Guess our ‘already paid’ missing dinner item isn’t was important.
