Hate to say it but I got a $7 iced latte here that was so bad I threw it out and walked to union sq donuts to get a good coffee.My husband ordered a sandwich to go and it took at least 20 minutes (we were the only customers and it was a chicken finger sandwich, so was surprised it took so long).Staff was nice, store was clean.
Horrible service. Up charge of a dollar for oat milk in a latte which ended up just being black coffee with a splash of oat milk. When we asked to add more milk, they want to charge extra for it. Disappointing!!
I ordered a ham, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on a sesame bagel. It was decent, but was very small. There was very little meat, only 1 egg and the bagel was not toasted either. The cross section is pretty underwhelming (see pic). I don't plan on ordering it again
It's like gas station food. Not good. In addition to not being good, I ordered a breakfast sandwich and asked for the bagel to be toasted, but they didn't toast it. Added avodaco and there was hardly any avocado. Super disappointing. There are way better places to spend your breakfast money. Skip this one.
Lesson learned- if you want a great breakfast search for a coffee house. Great place- nice ambiance, great staff and the food is fresh and high quality. My bagel hound daughter gives her approval. Daughter #2 said one of best coffee drinks she has had. Worth a return trip before we head back to NY.
I was in the area and this place had decent rating.. I got there, door was locked and 3 employees inside. I tried calling and watched as NO ONE was considerate enough to answer the phone. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! The website says open until 5pm!! If the hours changed there should be a notice on the door and update your website. There were 2 other potential customers that came thinking they were open.
Stoped for a bagel and it was delicious (salmon deluxe), really friendly staff, clean with nice music, will come back!
Friendly staff, but definitely overworked and understaffed.I orderer chicken and waffles and i kid you not, they took frozen eggo waffles out of the freezer and into the toaster. I'd be mad if it weren't hilarious. And for $16?. I know plenty of ppl like eggo waffles, but just beware this is what youre getting when you order waffles (zoom into kitchen pic to see). Was also surprised to find the chicken smothered in cheese and gravy.If you go there, stick to the pancakes.
The best coffee in the Boston region, a super nice environment, I recommend it to everyone.
One of my favorite places in Somerville, good baristas, they know how to nail a coffee based drink. They also have good sandwiches and if you into brazilian açaí they serve one of the best around.
