Ordered cappuccino while my husband made the smarter choice of pizza. I have not had another cappuccino since as Dragon cured me of this habit with a cup of what tasted like six spoonsful of instant in just 5 ozs of water with a mere drip of milk and no sugar. Later I was offered a plastic dispenser of liquid sugar (in what looked like the classic squeeze bottle used for ketchup or mustard). Dragon's offering put me off cappuccino for life, I think. There is a fine looking espresso machine. The fellow steamed about 6 ozs of milk to make the brew. But, perhaps Dragon should stick with pizza and just forget about cappuccino...unless they are offering a "cure" for folks like me who like just about anything dark and hot with steamed milk.
To be honest, I was skeptical of any place named "Dragon Pizza" but I had a coworker recommend it to me. At first, the menu seemed a little pricey but after tasting the pizza, any doubts I had were gone. Everyone has their own preference for pizza but Dragon Pizza knew exactly how I liked mine done. By far my favorite place to order from, happy to have this gem so close by.
I've walked past this place a million times. I was waiting for my wife so I got a slice. It was so good I saved it til she came so she can taste it as well. She agreed it was delicious. So we decided to grab a whole pie..Waited outside anticipating taking that pie home after leaving Sira. To my disappointment my order wasnt taken seriously. Woe is me, had to leave with just the tease of a shared slice. I have since gotten into a car accident totaled the vehicle and haven't been in that area since. I will be back, and I will get that pie.
Incredible service every time and go and the owner is a badass. My favorite pizza in the Boston area since I no longer live in NY. Super fresh and quality ingredients. Not to mention they have booze and a giant portrait of Swayze and play punk rock. Sold for life.
My favorite pizza in Boston; great customer service as well. We picked up a pizza that was made incorrectly and they delivered a new pizza to us right away. They went above and beyond!
My friend and I ordered half margarita, half Maple Bacon Cheese Pizza. It cost $25 so $12.50 each since we split it. The employee at the front convinced us to try the Maple Bacon Cheddar and I'm glad she did! We both really enjoyed the pizza. The MBC was great, slightly sweet syrupy taste, but not too overwhelming. The margarita was also very good. The crust was slightly thinner than I'm used to, but in a good way — it had a very satisfying crunch. The sauce and cheese also tasted very fresh. We each also had one of the draft beers on tap, which were also very good.As some others have said, it's trendy but not overstated inside. Really enjoyed the place, the food, and the customer service, and we will be back again.
I love Dragon pizza, by far my favorite pizza place in the Boston area. It has it all, great pies, bar, gellatto, and enough room to sit down and eat if you wanted to. They also have foods that aren't pizza that are great like the meatball sub. Love the decor and vibe from here too. If you have to choose one pizza place in Somerville, go to Dragon.
Pizza so good I bought a shirt from them. As local as it gets - so down-to-earth, the owner is often serving you himself.

ordered two pizza's Saturday night, CHEESE and TOMATO MARGHERITA. Pizzas where delivered. When we got them, they were cold and did not taste good. Might try them again in the future but not use delivery and go pick up. Don't enjoy giving this place a low grade but hopefully they can do something about the delivery service ( if that was the cause of it ) Will update when I do.
