Food was flavorful. Medium spice was a good spice. Would strongly recommend eating here. Staff was very kind and helpful to people who have no clue how to eat Indian food.
Dosa and Curry as the name suggest should have amazing dosas. But they were sheer disappointment. We ordered Temple Special masala dosa, Medhu Vada, Gobi 65, Chilly style Paneer with rice , Channa(Chole) Bhature and Dahi puri .Temple Special Masala dosa:2/5 - The dosa batter was very weird in taste. It didn't taste fresh. The sambar was stale just heated up and the chutney tasted like that powdered chutney we get in stores to which we add water. The only edible item in the dish was the red chutney.Medu Vada:3/5 Again the batter was weird. Too oily. And the sambar and chutneys were same as the dosa.Gobi 65: 1/5Very dry. The batter was bland. It was like Fried Gobi with no spices. The Chef certainly didn't taste it before getting it out of his kitchen.Chilly style paneer:3/5 This item made it to the average category. After such a disappointing start, the chilly style panner was just decent enough. Although the paneer was a bit hard and the gravy was too sweet despite requesting a spicy dish, it was still edible.Channa (Chole) Bhature:2.5/5: The bhatura was soft and well cooked. But the chole again were not that good. Apparently, it’s their specialty dish. The chickpeas were not cooked well, and the gravy seemed bland.Dahi Puri:We never got this dish on the table. Instead, we were served Dahi wada which they took back and never replaced it.The server was good and honestly gave her views on the mediocre food and the bomb they charge for it.Overall, by the name they should have had at least decent dosa but just a big disappointment.
The dosas are incredibly amazing! However, we also ordered the idli in starters and aloo poori but they were quite average not worth ordering, but the rava dosa was very very good. Definitely a must visit just for the dosas and the green juice too.
Every thing we ordered was delicious and incredibly flavorful. So many vegetarian options to choose from. We ordered way more than we needed to because we simply couldn't narrow down our order. And I'm glad we didn't because it was all spectacular.Warning for spice sensitive people like me. If hot Cheetos make you cry for death, then even the mild option here is quite spicy. Get yourself a mango lassi or 10. If you are normal and can handle spice like a regular person then mild will be just fine.
Loved everything we tried there. Definitely will go back. It was Wednesday night around 8pm and had no wait time.
Nice interior, quick service and food tastes great. Priced right! Will come again.
Good morning everyone!! Whoever is a food lover for vegetarian - vegan cuisine and especially Indian one, this place is a must try one and if you live close by, it can be your go- to food outing place. Pleasant Hindi Music, friendly staff.. Variety of options for everyone..and honestly if you will need to wait for your order for a bit longer, don't worry. The food will make it up. Looking forward to visit again soon.
Dosa n Curry is one of the best Indian Restaurants.5/5 for the ambience5/5 for the service5/5 for the calm peace.5/5 for the good staffI felt a sense of happiness after visiting this restaurant , getting back those Indian food vibes and atmosphere. We had been here on Tuesday and did have the Unlimited Dosa and other food as well. The prices are reasonable as compared to other Indian restaurants. Here is my top pick in this Restaurant1- Pav Bhajji is the best in this restaurant - gives you the authentic Indian Pav Bhajji10/10 - Must Try2-Bhel Puri - 9/103- Samosa chat - 9/104 - Gobi 65 - 8/10 since it's completely dry and needed bit more masala5- Dosas - 8/106-Chikoo milkshake - 6/10 - It had too much of sugar
Tried Peshawari Paratha - it’s sweet (haven’t tried such Paratha ever - if you like sweet, you must try)Had Chilli Pakoda, Maysore Dosa, Paper Dosa and Temple Dosa all of them were nice. They have good Sambhar as well.I did not like their Soup and Panner Chilli that much.Parking could be a problem. They have Jain menu!!
This place is a local treasure. They’ve stayed open during the pandemic despite everything being pitted against them, and they remain one of the best Indian restaurants in Boston. Good heat, great spices, excellent dosa. It’s always a treat to come here!
