Truly excellent dining experience. Everything is wonderful. The ceviches, the appetizers, the main courses, everything. You can’t go wrong. Go and enjoy. Relaxing atmosphere. Good service. A good time with good food.
Ceviche was amazing! The rest of the food was great, too! The Staff were pretty friendly and I found a really nice message in the bathroom, instead of mirror, they had a message saying: you look great, don’t worry!? I didn’t have my cellphone with me to take a picture, I’ll do that next time! The tables in the outdoor seating area were super close to each other, but this turned out to be a wonderful experience and I found a new friend, so thank you Celeste for that!I give it 4 star because of the drink! I did not like the drink and it didn’t pair well with the seafood. I later learned they have some spicy drink options (not on the menu)!I definitely will be back and will try one of those next time!
Excellent quality of food and service! Definitely coming back! Large selection of Pisco sour. Glad to discover this gem of Peruvian food in Boston. Blue Cod Ceviche and Passion Fruit&Mango Cevice were really good. We also tried steamed fish and stir fried beef, both felt like homemade.
I think this place was quite nice. The music, the food and the drinks were all great. As a Peruvian myself, this place was obviously catering towards non-Latinos. It was quite expensive for the smallest portions of Peruvian I’ve ever seen ever, which is why I give it 4 stars. But I will give it to them, everything was good and an overall fun experience.
I had a wonderful dinner here with delicious food. Everything we ate was prepared carefully and thoughtfully and was absolutely delicious. The margs were fine. The service was very attentive and helpful. The restaurant is tiny but charming. I have a nut allergy and the staff were pretty good about it, but definitely double check things as there are nuts in some of the sauces and on a lot of menu items.
Everything about the evening was spectacular! Can’t wait to come back!
Tops for ceviche. All-around star for Peruvian food and the strong craft cocktail program.
Awesome food worthy of the price. Since I tried them for the first time last summer, have been going back every month or two for the cocktails, ceviches and the main dishes! I’m usually conservative in trying out new items at restaurants if I have a known set of good items, but I just kept on exploring at Celeste, so far, not a single disappointment, all the food are based off fresh ingredients and very nicely seasoned. The maracuya sour is a must try if you like tropical cocktails, among all the main dishes my favorites are the Peruvian-Chinese style steamed fish and stir-fried sirloin beef. Make sure to make a reservation ahead of time to guarantee seating especially in winter months as the restaurant has a tiny interior space.
Great cozy atmosphere, authentic Peruvian flavors, delicious cocktails. Ordered the tuna ceviche, lomo saltado, and mutton stew. Plus martini and pisco. The lomo saltado was so juicy and fragrant. Only downside is the portions are smaller than other Peruvian restaurants I’ve tried. But hey there is a premium since this is a fancy date night joint ?
Deliciosa comida peruana con un buen estilo!
