Delicious empanadas! They even have dog empanadas which our puppies loved. Will be back!
Where do I begin… I followed Buenas for about 1 year on Instagram before I got a chance to try their delicious empanadas, and it was worth the wait. I have yet to try a flavor that I did not like. Normally, I wouldn’t bother to buy a product frozen and make it at home. But I have literally ordered dozens of empanadas at a time and they quickly diminish out of my freezer. And their Chimichurri sauce is a must add. They are vegan friendly as well!!!!!My meat favorites are: beef & ham and cheeseVegetarian favs: sorta Samosa, humita, GUAVA AND CHEESE (this one deserves a category of its own. The perfect balance of cheese and guava jam (?) in each bite, this was the first dozen I stocked up on)I haven’t tried all the flavors but I am fairly certain I will soon. Anyone who says they’re small/not worth the price, is flat out wrong. You’re going to pay way more for takeout in Bow Market and you’re going to get way more emps for the same amount of money or less.Don’t play yourself and RUN don’t walk to beunas.
How can you even say you serve empandas??? Yikes! Most disgusting "empanadas" I have ever tasted in my entire life!! More like uncooked dough filled with whatever you desired! So so disappointing!
Empanadas are amazing! There is an art to what they make and the fillings are so full of flavor. The cost is leveraged by the fact that the owner and the employees kill it every day. If you want to support a local business, this is it!
Great empanadas but value is not that high given the size. It’s well stuffed tho, especially liked the beef one. Dough is on the greasy side.
Absolutely delicious! They offer so many different flavors (sweet & savory)! Everything I’ve tried has been so good! And the staff is so helpful & friendly! 10/10 would recommend!
It’s a take-away only empanada stand in bow market. Most of the empanadas are really tasty (ham and cheese is the best). They’re also hella expensive for what you get. The hours are not great and a lot of the time they run out of the best types.

Ask for their hot sauce and cauliflower empanada! Delicious wheat flour-oven baked style empanadas.
Buenas is without a doubt one of my favorite food locations in Boston. The staff are all incredibly kind and provide amazing descriptions of the empanadas so you know exactly what you’re getting, and the variety of empanada’s they carry is out of this world. The ham and cheese empanadas have to be one of my go to comfort foods at the moment, and I’ve never been disappointed with anything I’ve ordered from here. Highly recommend buenas to anyone in the Somerville area. Great location and event better food.
