The server was nice and friendly. The food was great. I’ve eaten at a lot of German restaurants, and I feel that Bronwyn has the best German food within the United States. There is indoor and outdoor seating and indoors is very nicely decorated!
Amazing experience in German dining! We started off the meal with Pretzels and opted to add the beer cheese(a must)! Delicious crunchy exterior, soft interior. Then my party of 4 all chose to participate in the 3 course meal option. The Caesar salad was light and refreshing, the potato pancake is super fluffy and I'm told the pierogies are fantastic. For the entree, I opted for the pork leg. Feeds 2 is an understatement. My husband and I split the dish and had enough leftovers for lunch the next day. Succulent meat, incredible homemade sauerkraut and plenty of home fries! Definitely a must try!!The round out the meal we all opted for the donut with fruits. Light and simple, yet full of flavor. Will be visiting again!!
Very fun and unique place! You feel like in the middle of October fest every time you visit. The beer selection is great. Some nice cocktails as well. Don’t count of finding anything healthy in the menu though! Caesar salad would be your only option. But the sausages and fried potatoes tastes amazing! Hot Dog was very delicious as well.
Our wait time at another spot was MUCH shorter than expected, but the bartender had a FABULOUS Prince t-shirt and made our drinks quick and tasty. Will definitely be going back for longer than 5 minutes SOON
The atmosphere is great, beer selection seemed to be a bit limited but they were sticking to only German brews. Soft drinks are a bit on the expensive side at $6 a bottle.and the food while good seemed to be priced a bit high as well. $22 for a chilly dog and sides was more than I wanted to pay despite how good it looked. I do recommend coming for drinks but expect it to leave a dent in your wallet. Also be aware they auto include the gratuity of 20% in the bill sooooo I hope you got good service.
Fun atmosphere. Attentive staff. Tasted good and was well presented. Catered nicely to the kids. Made a custom round of mocktails for the non drinkers. I've been more than once before and after the pandemic. Always the same. Hit them up.
Not very often that you’ll find German inspired cuisine in New England. Definitely has the German-themed decor, but with some modern twists. Schnitzel was pretty good. Entrees generally are in the $20-something range. Not a very easy place to get to unless you take the green line or live nearby. Some bench seating which means you could be sharing a long table with another party. Not my favorite style but there was still enough room. Be sure to make reservations well in advance. It felt like we were lucky to get one just two hours beforehand.
?BRONWYN Restaurant Boston ??1️⃣Konigsteller for two. It’s huge! Definitely for two, the pork shank is okay, but fried potatoes are ? ?? ( you can also order fried potatoes for appetizer too)2️⃣the appetizer ? are sooooo delicious, have to get another one.3️⃣starters- charcuterie Plate for two.Chicken liver is pretty good with the bread/ bacon is smoky and sweet, really good ?4️⃣Schnizel- fried pork with mashed potatoes at the bottom, the garlic mashed potatoes are super good ??8️⃣we ordered a Mystery beer, and this beer is delicious! Has strong ? Apple scented, and not bitter at all.Saw many people just come in and enjoy a few beers. It must be a pretty good place for beer?
I’m always happy to eat in a German Biergarten, and so I was very happy to give this restaurant a try. The food was tasty and the portion sizes were large. Prices were a little high, and a service charge of 20% was automatically included in the bill. The restaurant had a Biergarten atmosphere, and our table felt cozy and private. I’d be happy to eat here again.
Hearty food, awesome beer, great vibes. The warm, slightly salty bretzel was my favourite! I am not usually a beer person but quite enjoyed a lager that the server recommended (the most popular beer on the menu). Schnitzel was a tad dry but had a great mushroom sauce. The sauerkraut braised pork was tasty. Portions are big but are a tad pricey. Excellent service and interesting atmosphere.
