I love the outdoor patio! This place has a lot of different options for seating and various chair arrangements around the cafe (for meetings friends or work).It’s a place I’ve been looking for for a while! I can see it becoming my cozy coffee place!We had coffee and sandwiches and they were great! The staff are friendly and nice as well!
Nice cafe with a chill atmosphere. Good outdoor seating options for the spring and its not hard to find a little nook to setup at to study. Excellent coffee and bagels along with a variety of baked goods to try. Edit:. They have sticky buns made from puff pastry and they are DECADENT!
Overall a decent place but the coffee weren’t so great tasting and the quality isn’t consistent. I tried the half caffeine latte, regular latte and cafe au lait. The half caffeine latte is decent but the milk isn’t frothy properly. The regular latte is obviously over frothy. Pastry are ok. Decent place to work but I’m not a fan for the coffee.
It is a very cute cafe and I actually like the automated ordering system (very easy to use but I do understand that people should have a way to pay in cash). This biggest issue is that my hot chai latte was barely warm and not flavorful. Also I wish they allowed dogs in their courtyard, we won’t stop again if we can’t stop on our walks. As an FYI to those who are interested, it doesn’t look like a good place to study or work because of limited outlet access and, at least during Covid times, they prefer you only stay inside for a max of 30 minutes.
If it weren't for the automated cashier, I'd give this place 5-stars. Call me old-fashioned, but I prefer a little foreplay before doing the deed of ordering a coffee.Otherwise, the vibe is chill, the bevs are delish, and the outdoor seating is a good time.
Finest Cafe around. Very welcoming people and cozy neat atmosphere. On a side note, the egg sandwich is a must-try!
No option to order from a human being. Forced to include phone number and email in online order form to purchase coffee. I did not see any option to pay in cash either, but I didn't check on that, so please correct me if I'm wrong. Another example of perfectly good cafes and eateries going too digital.
Worst experience with the staff this morning and with another customer who berated me in front of everyone and when I asked if this was condoned everyone just stared at me. Disgusting behavior that is not want from a local coffee shop. I will not be going back nor will I be recommending this establishment to anyone.
The favorite breakfast destination for my partner and I, a big part is is beautiful outdoor courtyard (indoor seating is inside old bank for an interesting atmosphere. Bagels from Bagelsaurus are made into very satisfying breakfast sandwiches. The coffee and lattes are also nice.
Just had THE most frustrating, painful coffee experience ever at Bloc. Waited at least 40 minutes for a simple black coffee and an ice coffee. Zero prep required. We finally just walked away without our coffees.
