Cobb salad was so good and so was the CBR pizza! They have a cute outdoor space, which is perfect for the warm and sunny days. Cocktails were okay but would go back again for the food.
Avenue's Detroit style pizza is literally the best pizza I've ever had (important to note that I come from a family of Italian immigrants). The thick, crispy crust with sauce added after bake is just incredible. There are a few other places in MA that serve Detroit style, but nothing compares to Avenue. We order pizza from them any chance we get, and anytime something happens that is remotely worth celebrating, we do so with a large pepperoni from Avenue. Couldn't recommend them more!
This place is the tops. I've enjoyed everything I've tried- the pizza is fresh and tasty. One of the best burgers in the area. Can't go wrong with any apps, including the fries or the duck wings- a unique item I haven't seen elsewhere! A drink option for everyone and the service is great.
I had a great experience at Avenue Kitchen & Bar. The food was delicious & came out quickly & hot. The drinks were even better. The staff was very friendly, accommodating & knowledgeable. The outdoor patio was an added surprise. It was nice to be able to sit outside, away from the street & eat. Definitely will be back.
Great local spot. Gets busy Thursday Friday evening, quieter otherwise. Known for Detroit pizza which does not disappoint! Large can easily be split. Decent beer selection and cocktails, staff was great
A good friend told me of this place and it was not a disappointment!! Let's just say I went in for brunch and left after dinner. It was a great place to meet new people, watch the game, eat, drink and be merry!! Ken, exec chef and co-owner worked magic in the kitchen. Though, of all the food eaten there only one lacked a bit of seasoning. Gino, bartender and co-owner absolutely treated you like family. Great conversation when he was able to between the busy bar and full restaurant. A must order is the "Hi, how are ya?!" A secret drink not on the menu. One dish worthy of mention besides the pizzas is the Duck Wings!! Sweet, salty, sticky cannot have enough of!!! If you try anything, one must have the duck wings!
Wednesday is Italian night and the chicken parm is some of the best I've ever had. Maybe the best. The Detroit style pizza is a great addition to the heavily Greek and Italian styles I'm used to around here. Russell working the bar makes it that much better of an experience. The owners seem like great guys. And best of all they have miller high life.
Service was good. Our table got many dishes but I only tried the kale salad with shrimp, the cauliflower taco and spinach pizza. I liked her salad, though I modified it a little, things didn't have too much oil or too much salt. The cauliflower taco was also ok, on the sweater side which is not my preference so I probably won't order that again for my taste. The pizza, I did not like it, was more like. Read which melted cheese (maybe some would like that but I would not call it pizza). Overall prepared with the place, I would try different dishes next time maybe.
The detroit-style pizza is the headliner, but the supporting dishes shouldn't be missed. Beyond the pizza, my go-to's are the duck wings and caesar salad. I've only done takeout, but the interior looks modern and nice. They have a back patio that I'd love to sit down at when the weather allows.
First time going and everything was outstanding. I wish I had ordered the chicken sandwich my wife got because it may have been the best I’ve ever had. Great quality and atmosphere at a reasonable price. Will be adding this to our rotation of date night spots.
