The food was okay but the curry didn't come with rice so I couldn't eat it, and the photo attached is about half the onion that came on the yellow curry. There was more onion than everything else put together...
I usually order for delivery but we went in for dinner and The sushi is SO good and fresh! We also had Chinese food and it was great! The waiters are fast and polite! It’s also a beautiful restaurant.
I love to take my friends here or order out. Their makimono are BEEFY, they don't skimp on the fish. Everything is delicious. Favorites: Arizona Maki and Sushi Sandwich. Well worth the price. The staff are friendly and remember regulars, they're so great!
Got rid of their yellow crispy pan fried noodles...replaced with sub par vermicelli noodles that are NOT pan fried, instead came soggy and lacking flavor. Crab Rangoons were served cold. Ordered for lunch for me and my partner... a waste of money. You guys were once my favorite place to eat...never coming back
Got takeout. Food was great!!!! Prices are decent, the place looks very nice, staff is friendly. Was highly recommended by a friend. Next time we will eat in, heard great things about the drinks!!!!
Kind service, beautiful presentation, and clearly best quality ingredients as the food was delicious. I got the salmon sake Don and the flavors of the main ingredients stood out without any need for condiments or extra seasoning.
We ordered a few appetizers -crab rangoons, spare ribs and scallion pancakes. All were delicious. We also ordered crispy beef and pineapple fried rice, both of which were delicious. Our server was excellent! We will be back!
I don't know how long Sho Yu has been there but this was our first visit. My wife and I had been regulars at Out of Asia for years when they closed recently. So we needed a new Asian food spot and a friend recommended Sho Yu.Walked in the place and was immediately impressed by the cool vibe that the place has, a kind of retro-modern look. Sushi bar to the left, booze bar to the right, both look inviting and comfortable, but we chose the dining room. Service was friendly and efficient. Menu was fairly extensive and has all the classics as well as some house special items. Our order was for beef teriyaki, Peking ravioli, salt & pepper shrimp, sesame chicken and fried rice. And we loved it! Shrimp were fresh and crunchy. The Peking ravioli were the best I've had in a long time and not doughy. The beef teriyaki was sweet and savory, again one of the best I've tried. They also serve delicious lemonade and freshly brewed tea. This place is awesome but it wasn't busy at all which I found surprising. It should be packed and once word gets around, it will be. Go now!My wife and I have a new favorite Asian restaurant.
This is honestly the worst chinese food I've ever had. Just look at the picture of the Chow Mein as evidence, it's like a soup of just sprouts and onions, it smells terrible. There isn't any noodles in it! When I called to ask them why my Chow Mein was like this, the girl on the phone immediately responded "This is how it's made... What were you expecting?" Even the Mongolian beef is like 6 pieces of beef and a mountain of onions. Then for the general gao isn't even sticky, it's in a terrible brothy sauce. Im so disappointed how they handled this, they really don't care about their quality or customer service. I have to throw out $70 worth of food and order a pizza.
I am so disgusted by the food we got here. The sushi is fine, but all of the Chinese dishes we got were either watered down, a whole bunch of onions with little meat, and we ordered a chow mein dish without any noodles (again onions) and this white funky broth - we couldn't even touch that one to taste because it smelled nauseating. What a waste of money .
