We got a chicken kabob salad and 3-topping pizza ordered through Slice. Everything was fresh and delicious, order was delivered perfectly. I haven't ordered from Saugus House in months, but it will continue to be a regular for takeout from now on!
I would recommend..4.5 overall rating. 5 stars on Mexican/ Central American foods. 5 stars on Salads. Chickem fingers are decent. 3.8 stars on subs and Italian. Every place has menu items they excel at and others they don't. Also FAST DELIVERY and friendly workers/owners.Only comments I'll make to the owners is too use vented containers for fries so that they stay crispy. Also that you can tell when the food is made correct or fast, the taco salad bowl- most times it's amazing but there was a few times where I could taste the juice from the can of beans (from the rice I think) whoever makes it those days, I think isn't straining the beans first. (I am just guessing). Other then that no issues!
This is our go-to pizza place. They never fail to deliver quickly and the pizza is always hot and delicious. Our usual order is a meatlovers and buffalo chicken pizza. The meatlovers is always packed with many flavorful meats. And the buffalo.. wow. SO MUCH CHICKEN! And the amount of buffalo sauce is perfect. Love Saugus House!
Ordered 2 very simple pizzas 1 hour in advance for myself amd my co workers . I only get 30 mins for lunch. I arrived 5 mins later than I had planned and not only were the pizzas not ready.... THEY WERE NOT EVEN MADE ... AS IN NO DOUGH NO SAUCE NO TOPPINGS EVEN STARTED . the excuse was they got many orders...AFTER mine. Im sorry but thats un acceptable.
Pizza is good but the pupusas are amazing! They sell tons of great Mexican food. Great people as well!!
I was hungry for pizza and wanted to stop somewhere on my way home from Saugus so decided to try this place based on their reviews. I placed an order for pickup via EatStreet and received confirmation less than 5 minutes later that Saugus House of Pizza received and confirmed my order…Nothing fancy, just a small 10” cheese pizza. It would be ready in 20 minutes. I took my time getting there and even waited in the car a bit. After 30 minutes, I went in to pick up my order. The woman at the front was working on another order and barely acknowledged me…so I stood there. Another woman comes from the back carrying an uncooked pizza and puts it in the oven. She too barely acknowledged me, so I let her know I was there to pick up a pizza and gave her my name. She said, “I just put it in the oven.” What?! ? I told her I placed the order a half hour ago and was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. She shows me the order printout that was already taped to the counter and points to the time…Except, what she pointed to was the pick up time, which was over 10 minutes ago. She claimed “we just got it.” But that was a lie…They confirmed the order soon after it was placed. So I waited outside in my car for another 15 minutes. Did I get an apology for the inconvenience? Nope…Just a request for payment despite having already paid in advance ? I was hoping the pizza was AT LEAST worth the 45 minute wait…Not. It was extremely disappointing. I’ll never order pizza from here again and don’t recommend it. Had it not been for the poor customer service, I would have come back to try their latin dishes but, just like the pizza, it’s not worth it. There’s plenty of other places nearby that can provide a better customer experience.
Great Spanish food!! Carne asada is the best! And the soup of the day is my favorite… unless it’s sold out?
We honestly weren't thrilled with their pizza when we first moved to Saugus so we rarely went here. However, recently they started offering Mexican and Centro American dishes and all I can say is WOW!!! That type of food is not nearly as available in Saugus and it's definitely their forte'. They have excellent tacos (even birria!), pupusas, burritos, taco salads, pollo guisado, fajitas, quesadillas and more. My roommate loves the beef pastalitos and my favorite is the grilled chicken taco salad in a tortilla shell. So delicious!!
The food is amazing but the customer service is the worst. Cook and delivery guys are very nice but the girl who answers the phone is very rude all the time. Something was missing from my order yesterday and when I asked for it I got a dirty look and and an attitude. Also always messing up orders. It's really too bad because the food is very good.
Got the guac and chips. Very good. A nice variety of eclectic offerings.
