I didn't know they made roast beef sandwiches this bad in Massachusetts.
Update : Whilst the food is good, and often spending $90 with each takeout, they now refuse to deliver to my location which is well within their delivery radius.
Most of the food is really good, good portion sizes. (except their take on central American foods. we had a burrito, I think, there was no flavor, you could tell everything was from can cas was water down and they put Keith l lettuce which makes no sense.) Also I like when they cut the chicken up smaller on the pizza, or can be too big sometimes. Other then that pretty good place, love the Monday Pizza special. For some and Italian go here for Mexican she's Central American foods go to Saugus house.
Recently ordered a Ham and Cheese Calzone, two cokes, and a side of Mac and Cheese. The Mac and Cheese was phenomenal, something I get all the time there, meanwhile the Ham and Cheese calzone wasn’t so great this time. I get it a lot, and it’s normally great, but this time was not so great. When I got it, it ended up being a Ham, Cheese, and pepperoni calzone, which wasn’t too bad but the bad part was when I took a bite, some of the ham had mold on it. As soon as I saw it, I started trying spitting up as much as possible, and then had to throw the entire thing out. Nick’s place normally isn’t like this to me, so I’m just curious what went wrong
I spent $30 on a pepperoni pizza and I picked it up myself. Didn't find any gold so why so expensive?
Great food! The Honey barbecue calzone is the best and my favorite from this place. Service is good and they are usually very quick at preparing the food.
I love ordering from here. We must order from here at least once a week. The portions are big enough my bf gets full and I save mine for leftover lunch. I'd say the portions are meant for two people so if u have a family of four, u order two different dinners and split a little bit of each for everybody, this is the perfect place. And the prices are affordable. Definitely one of my go to restaurants in Saugus. My favorites are: chicken and broccoli calzone (small for 2 people), the teriyaki chicken (2 sides) with mashed potatoes and gravy and salad or Mac and cheese. Or the full rack of ribs (1 side) with a baked potato. It would cost me at least 15 bucks at the grocery store for a full rack of ribs and there's is such a good price and I don't have to cook it. Love you guys!!
I’m no longer ordering from Nick’s because the orders are frequently wrong. Quality control is terrible.
Very expensive for what they are honestly. You have to make sure that you confirm what's ordered because the guy who runs it will tell you you're wrong and won't stop calling you buddy as he insults your intelligence! Also, After delivery fees it's $12 for mozzarella sticks!!! Come on now..... They need to be hurt financially in order to change imo....
Been a customer of the winthrop location my whole life, big portions, great food, and great service, moved to lynn recently and i now visit the saugus location at least 2 times per week, great place !
