We stopped by this restaurant because it was close to all the Salem attractions we were visiting, and am glad that we did. Our waitress Cassandra was great and very friendly. Good selection of drinks. We started with a cup of clam chowder that was very good. I got the grilled cheese and fries and my husband got the Witches Seafood platter. While the seafood platter was very tasty, the only seafood on the plate was shrimp, but they were cooked perfectly. We ate outside and enjoyed watching all that was going on, on a very busy street, even seeing a wedding party at the Salem Maritime Site.

We stopped for drinks twice while spending this past weekend in Salem. The bartender Cassandra was wonderful. She was friendly, funny and made wonderful drink suggestions.

New owner and I'm pretty sure that she is going to turned it to one of the best local brewery in the area.

Be nice to the staff and have patience. Yes there is only 1 bartender/server and 1 cook but they are both awesome people and make the best drinks and food. Thanks for the great time today!!

Had an amazing evening in here. Amazing staff! Good cocktails! Lots of fun cocktails to choose from. The food was decent. We tried the steak tips and chicken Parm. Met some amazing locals and out of towners as well. Ended up staying till closing time. Love the decor inside and out as well. Felt just right being in Salem and in a pub called Witches Brew. Would recommend

This place was near our B&B. When we found it open, we stopped in for dinner and weren't disappointed. I got the Cajun shrimp and my husband got stuffed haddock. Both were delicious. Cassandra, our waitress, was friendly and talkative. Patrons seemed to be local. We always look for local, less touristy places. This is near the harbor and House of the 7 Gables.

Service was friendly and quick! Humus is housemade and very good! Great Shirley Temple too, would haunt here again

Stopped by on a Thursday night with friends and we had a blast. The bartenders were incredible, the drinks were great, and the atmosphere was fun and lively. Definitely check out this gem!

If there were a zero star option that is what I give it. Website states noon open, got there at 1145 first on line. At 1 we were still waiting to be tabled, even after hostess said they will be open at 1230, with an explanation they were short staffed and didn't have supplies to open (toilet paper ?). Once we sat, we ordered our lunches and even though my quesadila was pretty tasty, the kids food was served with a side of disappointment. Grilled chicken sandwich was inedible, the onion rings were tasteless, only had an oil flavor. The nachos had microwaved cheese and dry chicken (added for $6). Mozzarella sticks were so over cooked they had popped and were shells with cheese on the outside. We left there still hungry and had to go get snacks to hold off til dinner. Shame, place used to be good. We came here 3 weeks ago and it was a mess also but we decided to give it another shot. We won't make that mistake again while we were waiting 2 large groups walked away due to the wait, we should have followed suit oh well.

We stopped in on a Friday during the day while shopping and had a $5 apple cider shot that they had advertised on their sign out front. We sat at the bar and George and Miguel served us... Their friendly, fun and upbeat attitude made our experience amazing and because of them we came back that same night. The drinks they made were amazing! Miguel even took song requests and we had the best time ever. Thank you guys for a great experience. Hands down the best bar in Salem!!!
