My husband and I stopped by The Ugly Mug during our visit to Salem last week and we were not disappointed. The food was phenomenal and the atmosphere was great! Jackie/Jessica (I’m sorry, I can’t remember her name) waited on us and not only was she a great server but she was also very helpful to give us recommendations for the best places in town to visit since we were on a time crunch. She helped us thoroughly enjoy our day. Oh…and the Crab Benedict was outstanding!

Staff was so friendly and the food was excellent. The ONLY disappointment was that we didn't try this place until the last day! We had a "fun guy" omelette, breakfast sammich and some pancakes and all of it was great!
Great place for Breakfast, stopped in here on our day trip to Salem. Service was quick and friendly and the coffee and food was lovely.
My mom, sis, and I really enjoyed this diner a lot. It also had good coffee, something we're pretty picky about, and the food was great. We were especially impressed by a young waitress (5/24) because it was very very busy but she maintained a sweet and friendly disposition throughout. She made sure everything was fine and we never felt rushed.
Enjoyed a nice breakfast at this friendly neighborhood spot. The service was quick and friendly from the moment we arrived. There was a wait, but it was simple to put our name down and be contacted when a table was ready.The food was fresh and delicious. We both ordered their Baymosa and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Their food is unique and delicious. I loved the duck and waffles. Everyone in our party was happy and thought the food was awesome.
The food was fantastic and the service was friendly and helpful. They actually serve an egg cream. Haven't had one in years and it was delicious!! The mixed breakfast potatoes are awesome!!
Lunch was and breakfast food was delicious. I really enjoyed the decor of colander, cheese greatoer, and coffee pot hanging lights. As well as the large knit bacon and eggs hung up on the wall
PEARL is AMAZING! Service was spectacular and Pearl wonderful energy made the experience even more special.
