Stopped after our candlelit Salem tour for a snack and drinks. Nice outdoor seating with awesome waitress and quick service! Thank you
Mmm....so good. They had Kolsch beer. I loved the potato gnocchi. Went there for dinner two nights during our stay in Salem. I will definitely be back if we come back.
My sisters and I were in town for a Sisters getaway. We tried stopping in one night for a late dinner, while the bar was opened they has already closed the kitchen. We stopped back and had lunch. My sister and I split the Fish & Chips along with a burger, Oh we also had order the Smoked Gouda & Goat Cheese Fritters, they were amazing. I do wish they have you more than just 3.
Great food and fun environment in this pub. Stopped in 3 times during our visit for a drink and some great conversations. Loved the Guinness and the Irish whiskeys
The owner/bartender was amazing. He was friendly and welcoming like we were regulars. I was there three times today. I loved it. Solid Irish whiskey selection. A good choice for food and alcohol. The fish and chips were so great.
Husband and I were surprised that more people weren't here, especially since everyone seemed to know each other in the front room. This seems like the spot to be for locals. We were seated in a big back room that was empty but comfortable. Husband had a Guinness (awesome pour) and I had a cocktail. Food was tourist town prices buy actually good and made with care. Recommend the shepherd's pie meatballs. Would come back in a second.
We went there expecting a typical Irish pub playing the Dropkicks, and instead we got some of the best food in town with really classy jazz music. Definitely going back, bringing my family and friends.
One of the best places to eat in Salem. It’s one of our favorite local restaurants. The specials are always so good and the service is wonderful
This doesn’t get five stars for being gourmet. It gets five stars because the food was actually good bar food, the service was attentive and kind, and this place really has a New England “townie” feel. Please note I sat in the lounge/bar area, not the dining room. And I’m glad I did! My burger was cooked perfectly (I asked for medium) and the fries were crispy. I had the Gouda and goat cheese fritters for an appetizer and they were light and savory, the aioli was dynamite, and the grilled tomatoes added a light palate cleanser between bites. My first drink, the sunburn, with tequila/orange liqueur/cranberry/lime was a little watery and tasted too much like alcohol. The second drink I got however, made with their homemade limeade was good enough that I got a second one. I had the appetizer, burger, fries, and three drinks for under 60 dollars (not including tip). They have fish, pot roast, beef tips, and a good brunch menu. Located right in downtown Salem near the main attractions.
Great classy Service. Bartender was courteous and Friendly. Nice setting for some drinks and a Great time. A place to Go with friends and loved ones. it was worth our time.
