I've given this place a chance to impress me a few times and it's really failed to do so. All of the chicken dishes were very similarly bland and overly sweet. And the fried rice was woefully overcooked, dry, and relatively flavorless. That seems to be the trend with the food, bland and boring.The portions were moderately sized, but you do ~not~ get rice with a main dish. So if you ordered Hunan Chicken, you'd also have to order white rice to have any rice with it. So that makes meals come out rather expensive. I just can't recommend the food. There are far better choices.
I have been ordering from Hong Kong King for years because I like their prices and the food I have ordered over and over again is really quite good. I often recommend it to others.
Look its chinese food, its good, probably the best in the Salem area. Delivery is always quick. Try it, you'll like it!
So I've eaten here for a few years , i have had a strange suspicion the past several times . . . That all of their Chicken plates are essentially the same thing and the price is arbitrarily changed . . . Hear me out i have ordered1. General Gau's ( sweet a hint of chille)2. Orange chicken (sweet with barely a hint of orange)3. Sesame chicken (sweet with sesames)All 3 dishes taste the same its not different sauces its the same base sauce and add a hint of chill or orange or sesame. .Besides that my rice has been inconsistently cooked sometimes its done well other times its undercooked or had outright uncooked peices.Their Delivery guys are FAST AF though. And prices are still good. But seriously all the chicken dishes that i mentioned above are the SAME THING with (different prices)

My favorite Chinese spot in Salem so far. I’ve tried a few others but the food here is always fresh, fast and delicious!
This was so good, I want to bust into the kitchen and ask for the chefs hand in marriage so I can bring them back to Nebraska (the land of horrible Chinese food) and have them cook for me. Arrived packaged very well, and was super fast. Really good price. I was also able to get 4 meals out of just an entre and a small fried rice. Thank you for reminding me what Chinese food could taste like.

Ordered take out on a cold night. Food came so fast and so hot. Everything was amazing. The rice was different- dark brown, not my thing.
