Our waiter/bartender Clint was awesome! He was so knowledge about the history of the city and made a perfect Hurricane! I am from New Orleans and I have to say his Hurricane rivaled Pat O’Briens. The food was really good. The service was great!!
1. Get their crab rangoons and dumplings as an appetizer (both delicious).2. Get their sushi, definitely recommend the Sunset Blvd with the mango and crab on top of them (yum yum yum).3. Their General Gao's chicken soooo good and the seafood bag with snow crab legs, get it with the eggs and sausage slices for an extra fee and you will not regret it!
Ordered take out couple times before, but haven't eaten there yet. It's so chic and clean inside. Love the lights. The food was really good. The juicy bun and duck fried rice were outstanding. And the ramen is very good too. It's really nice to find a decent Asian restaurant in downtown Salem. Definitely will come here often!❤️❤️
Really a game changer. Well priced and great food that is not the usual take out. I love that we can get Sushi (that is excellent) that my kids want to order and also I can get good Cajon seafood, that I love, all in one.To the team at Ginger, I just want to say thank you to you all! What a great idea and so well done.Support this local business. They are great and doing all the right things! You won't regret it!
This picture was taken halfway through our meal. It was SO delicious I couldn't wait, their initial presentation was awesome though. The staff was friendly and attentive. The entire facility was tidy with a good atmosphere. What I reccomend to order? The best and biggest scallion pancakes I have ever had and yummy crab ragoons also. The yellowtail scallion and alaska rolls were great quality fish with perfectly cooked rice. Date night, celebration, or bad day? Go here!
I love Ginger!! Great food and great people. They just got sushi so be sure to check that out too. I've had most of the Chinese dishes and their spicy maki combo. If I was rich, I'd pretty much be ordering every night. I've heard their bagged seafood is good, but I haven't tried it myself yet.
A gem in salem that has something on the menu for everyone. Ginger is the perfect place to get some drinks and dumplings with friends. The crawfish bag was delicious and such a fun experience—something different than just a typical sit-down dinner. Our waiter was friendly and attentive, and even had some great maki recommendations. The place itself was very clean and “covid-safe.” We will definitely be back!

Excellent Cajun fish! My date had the tofu garlic and we shared the veggie dumplings. Tofu was perfectly cooked. Highly recommend. Also the Ambience is nice with an impressive bar selection.
Very eclectic menu. Great choices of everything from sushi through cajun. Ate at the bar. Bartender Clint super helpful and friendly. I had the cat fish poboy and my spouse had general gaos shrimp. Both dishes perfect. Cajun fries were spiced just right. Limited but adequate draft beer menu. We'll be back to explore more menu entries.
