really cool place. lots to look at and explore with the eyes. pizza names are fun. pizza crust is thin and delicious. we had one with pesto as the sauce, broccoli, spinach and sheep cheese (or goat, can't remember) it was drizzled with balsamic. very very delicious. we also ordered the cauliflower "wings". these we ok - i don't think they were crispy at all, not sure if it was due to the vegan flour, the fact that they were baked not fried, or that they were too close together when they were baking. this caused them to be soggy and the flour was pasty and wet. but they were taken off my bill. the staff was great and looked like they were having fun working there. I would definitely return for the pizza and selection of small brewery beers.

This shop has the best unique pizza ever. The crust was amazing and the selections were literally out of this world. Can't wait to go back.
Went initially for the sci-fi gimmick of the restaurant but was genuinely blown away by the quality of the food. Would highly recommend anyone to go for amazing pizza.
It’s very appropriate for Sailor Moon to be represented in Salem; after all she is a magical girl. Flying Saucer Pizza Company has tasty popular anime & scifi themed food and drinks! Excellent decor and artwork! Exactly what I was looking to find! Check out their clean, cute bathrooms! I loved all the Nintendo, Star Trek, Star Wars, Digimon, Sailor Moon references!
The food and service here were amazing. They were showing Disney movies which I thought was a quirky and fun alternative to news shows or sports. There was a table next to us of, hands down, the RUDEST people I have ever had the misfortune to sit next to, and their server was a SAINT. They never lost their temper, explaining repeatedly that the pizza would take time to cook, and even setting a timer on their phone to help the children (and adults, let’s be real) know when to expect their food. Honestly I’m only writing this review because the server was in the kitchen when we left and I felt like I needed to apologize for what they had to deal with from that table.
So we visited this restaurant whilst on a road trip in the US. Their website advertises the 'wonder twins' deal, two 12" speciality pizzas for $25 mon - thur. We arrive at the restaurant ask about the deal, they take the drinks order and the girl says she isnt sure about the deal. She comes back with the drinks and I say the deal is on the website. She says they have quite a few people asking about it but think it is only take out. I did ask why if she gets asked all the time about it why they dont clarify it on the website. Another guy comes and says it is only take out. So for me that spoilt the evening. The pizzas were ok, nothing really special but for two small pizzas and three drinks the bill was over $50 which i feel is a little heavy
This pizza restaurant has great vegetarian and vegan options and it has tons of fun pop culture references. It’s located in a lovely little plaza with outdoor seating for when the weather is nice. I ordered the Shuri cocktail and a couple slices of pepperoni pizza and both were great! The pizza slices were large and had a crispy crust and the drink was perfectly balanced. They also offer blue milk (like from Star Wars) and it can be made with non-dairy milk as well.
My sisters and I has just gotten into town and needed a bite to eat, we were walking around town and saw your menu in the window and right away the Poison Ivy Pizza caught our eye! Basil pesto, cheese, spinach, broccoli, green bell pepper, goat cheese, balsamic fig glaze. OMG amazing!
Absolutely phenomenal Niche eatery. Second time dining here and it doesn’t disappoint. Will come back every time I come to Salem!
