Was seated as per the reservation timing - ordered drinks and waited 15 minutes for them to arrive despite our waitress standing and talking to other servers. (The bar was busy but not full) When the drinks came there were no straws so went to the bar to get them. We proceeded to order a starter and and entree that we both split to save room for dessert. They both came together - when we questioned we were told thatâs the way itâs done here. Midway thru dinner the check came and the waitress said goodnight - this was at 8pm so they werenât closing - we felt so unwanted and just served because they needed to fill a table - very sad because the food was really good. We had the paella despite no kick-plate being given for all the shells and would have it again. But very reluctant to go back knowing the variety of local restaurants to choose from.
We enjoy Finz and try to get there about once a month at least. We enjoy the food and the service and our recent visit was no exception. Just what we were looking for for a little date night.
The food was incredibly good, I got about half a dozen oysters, very fresh and cleaned very well; no grittiness whatsoever. I also had the sea scallop entree it was loaded with flavor and had a ton of complimentary textures.
This a bar first. The cocktails are outstanding. The appetizers are average. The dinner entrees are poor quality, not cooked properly. Rubber is the best description of them. The sides are more than likely were cooked hours before hand. The waitress seemed disinterested in us and others around us. Don't waste your money here.
Even though we had a reservation, they had a hard time finding us a table. Very casual place. Food was not great, strange combinations. Cod stuffed with crab meat was a piece of dry cod with a crab cake on top. To sum it up, its not the Finz it used to be and not worth finding a parking space for.
Great food and great service. Stuffed cod entree was delicious; so was the Ahi tuna entree. Shrimp cocktail (4 jumbo shrimp) appetizer was cold and juicy. Still can't get used to paying $2 for four rolls, although they were warm and not stale. Service was attentive and very friendly.
Nice location. Food slightly above average. Table service try hard to please. Greeting staff is unprofessional. Second experience witnessing a melt down over normal Friday night pressure. Staff could benefit from some training and more familiarization with their food. Last nights shucker did a nice job shucking but could not describe what he was serving.
After making a reservation for 8 oâclock, they couldnât seem to find anywhere to put us except a tiny table in the corner. Our server gave us the worst service Iâve ever witnessed and was so rude to us. She messed up our order, didnât offer any refills on beverages, and told us the sushi bar was closed when I could visibly see it was open and orders were coming out of it 2 two cooks behind it. Iâm a server myself so Iâm very understanding and it takes a lot to make me feel the need to call out a restaurant but they need to do better. Oh, and they didnât acknowledge the birthday I said we were celebrating.
A lovely evening outside by the water
Love Finz! The family always schedules a reservation when in town. Their lobster rolls are a must for any seafood lover.
