Sandwich Shop Salad

Easily the best sandwich shop I know. Not just in Salem, not just in MA, or even New England. Just the best, full stop. A perfect-sized menu of creative creations, all super flavorful, delicious house chips, tremendous value. Just awesome.EDIT: I just had the cookie for the first time. Bruh. How is everything here *so* good?

We tried Chez Casa for the first time tonight! I literally just took my last bite two mins ago, and had to write a review! I never write reviews! It was so good! We got the mushroom, Turkey jive, and the steak cheese mushroom sandwich, can’t remember the name- they were all insanely good- super fresh ingredients- and the chips are FOR sure the best I’ve ever had- also the best pickle. You definitely need to try this place!

This place is more than a sandwich shop. We stopped in to bring dinner back to our rental house in Salem. The Beet Salad was excellent. Served with quinoa, feta, and seasoned pumpkins seeds, with just the right amount of a light vinaigrette. It seemed fresh - not out of a bag. That was the case for my daughter’s green salad as well. The Empanada of the day was great - crispy, spicy, sweet, savory.

Excellent food and service! The only thing I wish for is another vegetarian sandwich option that doesn’t have mushrooms. I don’t love mushrooms but the mushwoon sandwich is still very good! It’s a little thing to complain about because the salads are excellent and vegetarian friendly. What’s even better though is the chips and the pickles that the sandwiches come with!

The Seared Ahi Tuna is one of the best sandwiches I've ever tasted. The light seasonings and hint of lemon complimented the tuna perfectly. Sour pickles tasted a bit like cucumber salad and reminded me of summertime. Everything was delicious. Very nice service as well. I will definitely be back for more!

Some of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had!

What a great sandwich shop!Very friendly service. Delicious meatball sandwich and the jive turkey was amazing. Please visit these great folks!

First time in the area and this dude was weird / awkward / super rude because I didn’t know there was a mask mandate. I’m happy to wear a mask but this guy is a straight up creep. Weird vibes in here probably friends leaving good reviews

The food is totally worth the walk. The food was amazing. Not heavy or greasy. The tuna was perfectly cooked and seasoned. You must try it even if you don’t like fish. Homemade chips were an awesome addition to the sandwich.

The food was great, all fresh ingredients and it shows. The menu was a bit limited so if you’re a pickier eater it could be tough but for foodies a small menu just means whatever you choose will be cooked to perfection. Location is a little bit tough to get to coming from out of town (Middleton) but well worth the work.
