Had a very nice dinner and the spread is wonderful. Mark had the veal scallopini, I had the calamari pasta dish and we are bringing Kdude their spaghetti Bolognese. Dessert was to die for… tiramisu!!! And the staff were just so sweet and attentive! I give them ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! I highly recommend eating outside where you feel like you are on vacation perhaps in Rome? I would have said Venice, but there were cars. ?
In a quaint, quiet setting, our server, Chanel was attentive without being intrusive to provide us with a relaxing dinner. We ordered the spaghetti bolognese & the boneless chicken breast in the mushroom sauce, both of whom were well prepared & very tasty. What a lovely way to start our getaway weekend in Salem!
I went to Bella Verona with a couple who had been there before (he called it "a lovely little Italian spot"). Lovely indeed! We sat indoors, a a cozy table for three. The seating was a bit tight, but not uncomfortably so, and I was glad we had reservations. There is outside seating, but I recommend the inside for atmosphere. The menu had a number of interesting options. One of my friends ordered the veal saltimbocca, the other one of the day's specials: lobster ravioli. When I inquired about the latter, I could not resist--homemade pasta with a cream sauce infused with saffron. Simply wonderful! We followed with dessert: a tiramisu, a creme caramele pudding, and a chocolate profiterole with white chocolate mousse filling. All delicious! The service was impeccable... prompt, friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout. My only regret is that I don't have photos to share. Highly recommended!
This place is great! First I recommend making reservations since it is a small place. The staff are very friendly and explained the specials and their dishes and gave plenty of time to make a decision. The atmosphere is so relaxing and the food so yummy.
I’m half Italian and I’m usually wary of Italian restaurants that I’m not familiar with - this restaurant was so good I went twice within 3 days because it reminded me of Sundays with my Noni. The food was that authentic. From the gnocchi in Gorgonzola sauce to the spaghetti bolognese- everything was divine.
Since my girlfriend and I have started coming to Salem on weekend vacations back in 2016, Bella Verona has been our #1 destination for dinner. The food is amazing, the staff are very pleasant and the atmosphere is so nice and cozy that you would think your own mother was the one in the kitchen. 100% recommend.

A lovely restaurant with a romantic air. We were greeted and welcomed even though we had no reservation after a long flight. The service was attentive and efficient, the food was fresh and tasty. Would definitely recommend.
The restaurant is very cozy, staff was very friendly. My girlfriend and myself ordered the Chicken Marsala, there was no Marsala wine flavor. This place should serve fresh pasta with their meals for the price.
