Visiting Salem so my family just chose this place on a whim. The food was incredible! Our waitress Christine was so personable and attentive. An amazing place .
Very disappointing. Took 45 minutes to get apps (two specials). One was cold. One was $31 for three scallops. Took another 40 minutes for entrees to arrive. Only two had any flavor. Server’s demeanor changed after taking our order. Seemed overwhelmed. Kitchen, too. For the price, the food and service should have been much, much better.
Nestled in the heart of downtown Salem is this gem of a restaurant. They have an upscale/ casual-bordering fine dining motif going on here: white cloth tablecloths, elegant water glasses and flatware, great lighting. The menu is Mediterranean inspired and seemed to be well rounded. My family visited Salem in the off-season and after a little research, I knew we must give Adriatic a try. It was really good and we'll recommend it to our friends.
Rebecca was a wonderful addition as our server. She is high energy, personable and beyond efficient. My swordfish was perfect and tasty. My fiance's scallop meal was also delicious. My only negative comment was the Syrian bread where hot rolls or another bread choice would be better.Prices are very affordable. We will return.
We went during off season but that didn't impact the food quality or service. Our server, Schineid, was above and beyond amazing. As good as our food was, the service was even better! Thanks!
we got lobster pasta and pork tenderloin and both of them were mindblowingly good. 10/10 recommend
Amazing,restaurant like in Europe,classy one
I just attended a private 50th Birthday Party at this wonderful restaurant. Although I eat here frequently, I had never experienced their special event procedures. It was PERFECT! There were around 20 of us and everyone was pleased with menu choices. Sarah and Madison gave us excellent service; Vanessa mixed excellent libations (as usual) and chef created perfect menu choices. If you have a special occasion to celebrate this is the place.
We had appetizers and drinks, the fritters were delicious! Place was packed, but then it was a Friday night in Salem a couple weeks from Halloween so hey, ya get whatever you can get! Good atmosphere, and wait staff were kind, and attentive!
This is my second time in Salem, MA, I must say I’m impressed. We honestly stumbled onto Adriatic restaurant— the menu sounded yummy and the reviews were good— boy were we not disappointed!First off, even if you don’t like lamb, get their lamb lollipops— I could honestly just have a plate of them. Perfectly done- tender meat and extremely moist. The meatballs- yea… get those too!The swordfish was spot on and the shrimp risotto (in this case, the special was using scallops) was simply perfect!Service was great and the restaurant created a nice ambience!
