The food is just amazing!! Best fish I have eaten in Boston area. I had the panko crusted haddock and it was absolutely delicious! My fiance had the haddock pasmesan which was equally superb! Staff is nice and environmental is cool and cozy. Absolutely love it and already planning to go back!
This Spanish-style restaurant has lots of seafood options. We had two haddock dishes that were fabulous. Great service as well.
Cozy, friendly & attentive staff, and amazing food and drinks! Enjoyed the empanadas & blacken salmon dish. Highly recommend.

Shirley Avenue in Revere was best known for its shoe stores, and now has a Number of international markets bakeries and restaurants. We tried Valsos for Sunday lunch ordering 3tapas dishes. Each was superb, tickling the taste buds. Each had a sauce or dressing that just added to the range of flavors. Coccoli Prosciutto with fresh puff bread and goat cheese mousse. Pork belly w/bbq sauce and an avocado cilantro dip...lip smacking good. Spanish Pulpo, grilled octopus with a potato and romesco aioli. The octopus was so subtle and very tender. So good. We made yummy sound, licked our lips and will be going back again and again. BRAVA to Catarina who was the only waitress as the place filled inside and out. She hustled and handled it all with a smile until some relief arrived. Give Valsos a try. A hidden gem of excellent taste and quality.
Service and setting good. Pizza not to any European standards. Coffee tastes like hot, brown water. Nice place to relax
It took 25 mins and for me to speak up to be noticed to get service and the table we sat at wasn't whiped down or ready. The service was slow and inaccurate. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger in which the waiter acknowledged the order. But, I got a bacon cheeseburger, but with some other stuff I didn't ask for (lettuce and some sauce). Granted the waiter was new and when he did acknowledge us the service was okay. But, you could tell there was alot on his plate and he was a little overwhelmed. This wasn't on the waiter entirely. It was an organizational issue and I'm not sure I'll be back.

I had the worst experience ever at Valsos.. I have been to Valsos many times, and my boyfriendfriends, and I usually have a good time. However, on May 14th, My boyfriend and I went during thenight, and we waited 30 min for two cocktails plus an additional 45 min for just one burger. Weunderstand it was crowded, but we also got overcharged for the burger. Also, a 20% tip wasautomatically added to the bill without our authorization. I always like to tip 20%, but at this time,did not believe the service provided warranted it. When we spoke with the Manager, Alex, hebasically threw the bill at us, said he would cancel the tip, and said he hoped not to see us again. Weleft with a sour taste in our mouths and paid the bill.On our way out, the Manager Alex came running after us, claiming to call the police because,according to him, "we did not pay." We did pay the bill, and he did not process the cancellation ofthe tip. He made a false accusation and threatened to call the police. I had never experienced suchan uncomfortable time in any place, and we hope none of the customers have the same experienceas ours because of Manager Alex. I'm not sure what kind of training this person was given, but Ihope the restaurant does something about it to prevent any experience like that. We did not haveanything against the staff, but the Manager's customer service was the worst we had ever.We would not come back to Valsos again. Alex made sure to make us feel unwelcome and not safein there.
Cozy, family-friendly atmosphere with attentive waitstaff and absolutely delicious food. Had the tostones and duck appetizer and churrasco steak dinner. Knowledgeable about the menu, she pointed me in the right direction for gluten free, and she must've overheard my daughter mentioning my birthday because after dinner she brought out a delightful flourless chocolate cake and ice cream with a sparkler in it! So thoughtful! We'll definitely be back!
