This place is absolutely fantastic, and has become our go-to spot in Quincy. The staff, atmosphere, food, and drink menu are all wonderful. Their cocktail menu and wine list are especially a standout.
It was my first time here. I found the decorum really inviting and friendly. It felt warm walking in, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. We were there for brunch, so we tried some of our personal favorites, and my only issue if I'm being honest was that the food tasted a bit under seasoned for my liking. It felt as though they just forgot that part of the whole process on top of it, also being a bit overdone. Everything else, however, from the drinks and ambiance, wonderful. I would check it out again.
We discovered this local gem last summer on their outdoor patio and love coming back! The pastas are made in house and although there isn’t a printed children’s menu, they can make any of the favorites from butter sauce pasta to grilled cheese. All the servers are friendly and efficient. Make sure to make a reservation as it fills up fast!
When I imagine the perfect cocktail it’s the “paper plane” from the townshend. The food was spectacular. We were only planning on having apps but after we had the muscles we ended up ordering dinner AND DESSERT ????!
The Townshend is a great Quincy go-to. The cocktails are always great and definitely get the beef carpaccio if they have it. And the Brussels sprouts. Delicious!!
First time here and we came for brunch. Couldn’t have been happier. All of the staff were super friendly and the food was excellent. Probably one of the best fried chicken and waffles I’ve ever had. Great mimosas as well. Highly recommend if your in the area of downtown Quincy. It’s also located right across from the beautiful Adams Hancock park.
Everything was absolutely amazing! Chef Pete brought us out a special burrata and we were treated like family. Get the Brussels sprouts they are the perfect combination of sweet and savory. The boozy iced coffee is the perfect morning pick me up and you can never go wrong with a spicy Bloody Mary. I highly recommend this place, but make a reservation because space fills up quickly.
Outstanding menu and the service was first rate. It was our first visit and our server Shelly made it memorable. She had excellent menu suggestions and spent just enough time with us to make us feel comfortable. We highly recommend!
Super yummy brunch!! My husband and I had a great time at brunch this morning. Our food was delicious. Our server and bartender were very friendly and helped us make some choices! We got The Bird and the Townshend burger. Sooo good!
One of the best places in the area. Awesome drinks and super friendly and professional staff who always have the best suggestions. Atmosphere is rustic American and the classic old fashioned is the drink to get. Whether you sit at the bar or grab a table, the cozy atmosphere will satisfy your needs. Definitely check out The Townshend!
