This was my first time at this place and I honestly loved it! We were able to get different varieties of broth! AND the little piggy you can order for your broth….. really put a smile on my face and made me happy. We only did the hot pot this time but next time I’m hoping to do both hot pot and the Korean bbq. I would definitely recommend this place! They have sooooo many different menu items to choose from and their build your own sauce station has so much to choose from. Definitely more sauce options than our local hot pot place. I can’t wait to go back and try more of their broths and options off the menu! Thank you Royal Hot Pot!

classic hotpot place in a modern atmosphere. very fresh and delicate food are well preserved and served on icecubes. the hotpot features delicious broth choices and an automatically controlled food shelf with variable heights that greatly facilities the cooking/eating with precise time control and minimal food waste. the staff are sweet and very friendly. higly recommended!

Not much on the outside but inside ... very very impressive! Beautifully decorated and intimate. The hotpot was delicious and the raw ingredients presented very very impressive! The array of sauces 5 star. Can't wait to return. The place is very spacious and clean. The service was good. This place is definitely 5 stars in every category!

Interesting Chinese restaurant. They have a mix of Asian foods including Korean and Japanese foods. The Chinese foods are the most authentic. We ordered a set menu which was definitely nice. The inly reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is because they asked what broth and how many we wanted for the hot pot. We chose four without knowing it would cost more. They should definitely make it clear that it costs more.

They renovated this place couple years ago and still serving sushi and hot pot but no longer AYCE. But they added Korean BBQ and they have combo sets or you can order a la carte. They also renovated the electric grills/pots on the tables. In the table are built in hot pot and Korean BBQ grills. The hot pot can have up to 4 dividers. It also has a button to raise and lower the pot so you don't have to fish or try to dig out the food at the bottom! Food quality was good but the pricing is really in the special mechanics and presentations. There's a plastic shield between all the booth seats so we felt safe and had privacy. Our server was very patient and very attentive.

Service was pretty good. The food was good but not standout. The kimchijigae was terrible, not sure you can call it kimchijigae. My friend and I had the house spicy and the Mongolian for hot pot broths. Both were good but the house spicy wasn’t very spicy—though take that with a grain of salt because both my friend and I like spicy quite a bit. Medium for price/quantity. The hot pot meat comes out with a little dry ice which is certainly a cool effect, though the meat wasn’t as thinly sliced as I prefer it. Sauce bar was fresh and good, although something was sweet that I wouldn’t have expected. That was disappointing as I didn’t want to create a sweet sauce so next time I’ll have to figure out which of the things I added contained sweet. All in all, I’ll be back, but it wasn’t the greatest hot pot I’ve had.

We had an amazing time here! The hotpot was delicious and the menu had everything you could want. The drinks were AMAZING! We were most excited about the sauce bar where you can grab a small dish and make your own sauce and bring it back to your table. I also love that it wasn't super expensive! We had lamb and beef, noodles, 2 different broths and a drink each and it came in around $70. I'll absolutely be going back, my boyfriend and I love that place.

Royal is likely one of the best hotpot restaurants in Massachusetts.(as of 21/03/2022)Their broth is very savory and is the best broth I've had in Boston (comparing among shabu-zen, spring shabu shabu, q-restaurant etc).I would recommend dual-broth and the supreme herbal & chongqing mala bases. The sauce bar is adequate, they do have everything you would need at a hotpot restaurant, and everything is constantly being refilled which is great. The meat on average is $16 - $24 which is standard for any hotpot restaurant. The serving size is comparable to shabuzen's (in between their jumbo & regular option). Great marbling and definitely very fresh. The lamb is cut a tad thick which was the only downside to their meat.Their serving size for anything non-meat related is quite filling. (i.e. they give you a lot). Definitely worth your money for the "side" dishes in hotpot.Service and atmosphere was phenomenal; not to mention the free refills on the soft-drinks.For two people, we have spent from $90 - $140, which is the pricier side. What really sets this restaurant apart is the broth and service. Would definitely come again.

A very nice KBBQ establishment. The decor is very modern and welcoming nonetheless. The food was delicious: the bulgogi, kimchi pancake, and the fried ice cream were my favorite. The spicy pork belly was good as well, but a little too fatty for my taste. Cheese topoki- the first time I tried them here, and the texture was fun, but didn't have a very outstanding taste-- a mild but still enjoyable blend of cheese, sesame seed oil, and spice (dish in the picture). Veggie dumplings were good as well. From drinks, I got a lychee boba green tea and it was delicious! Generally restaurants like that slack on drink quality, but this one pleasantly surprised me! So i give them .5 star for that only! I would go back again to try the hot pot. However, generally for the BBQ, I would say it is pricier than other places, but a fun place to go to nonetheless. I liked that the ambience was pretty calm and the music didn't interfere with conversations. Overall I recommend this place, the food was fresh and tasty.

I love hotpot and used to eat it all the time in China. I was so excited to find this restaurant in Quincy! A very nice restaurant to go for a real hotpot experience! Nicely decorated with friendly staff. There is a large serve yourself bar for sauces, spices and toppings to add to your hotpot. Be prepared to spend a hour or two eating your hotpot and socializing. The broths are always delicious and the add ins (from meats to veggies) nice and fresh. Gluten free and vegetarian friendly. There is a parking lot so finding a spot isn't an issue. Suitable for solo, friends, families and dates.
