I was visiting a friend in The Neck and we just wanted to grab some app’s and drinks before we went swimming. I’m glad she took me here! I felt like I was in a episode of Cheers? Everybody knew each other and everyone was so friendly! We got 2 appetizers, mushrooms and coconut shrimp. Both apps were extra crispy, satisfying and they were okay, just something to snack on while you are having cocktails. I loved the atmosphere, the pictures on the walls tells us the history of The Neck! Overall, great staff, typical bar food, awesome decor and happy buzzed locals that are more than happy to welcome you to their local bar! We will be back??
Wanted to like it more because the atmosphere is great, but service was slack, side dish replaced without notifying us, had to wave staff over to get refills on drinks, tartar sauce, etc. Broccoli side dish just steamed and bland. Probably just an off day. It's nice to see the place busy though, it's good for the neighborhood. I wish them well.
Food is really good! Love the overall atmosphere. Went for the first time about 2 months ago on a whim and have been back 3 times since then. Love, love, love the Reggae brunch - food and drinks are delicious and the music is awesome. Everything I have tried has been so good! Love their onion rings, the crispy fish tacos - yes please! My new favorite place.
Since we moved to the neck at the end of last year, I have been asking my husband to take me to Off the Hook. We have finally made it, twice now, and it did not disappoint. The staff have all been great and the food as well. I have to also say that my drink coming in a pirate mug brought me so much joy ? Everything we have eaten here has been delectable and we can’t wait to go back with friends. My husband and I have now declared it as “our spot!” Looking forward to going for Sunday brunch!!

What a great find. We heard about this restaurant and we decided to try it. The food and service was really good. The entertainment was fantastic a nice assortment of Irish and traditional music. We will be heading back.
Went to Off The Hook for the first time today and it was fantastic. We started with the clam chowder. I had the fish sandwich and my hubby had the steakhouse burger they were both delicious. My sandwich had two big pieces of fish and my hubby’s burger was huge. He said it was “cooked perfectly”. The restaurant is adorable inside and our server was great. Will definitely return!
Great place. Its a cool place to chill for drinks and apps. My server kept reaching over me and my girlfriend's food continuously didn't like that at all at one point her sleeve actually touched the mashed potatoes that we were eating very unpleasant in my opinion to the point we didn't even eat them anymore just stuck to the main meal. You shouldn't ever reach over someone's food.
