We walked in at an extremely busy night. We were seated pretty quickly by the hosts. They [big and tall] guy was very helpful. We came in with two young children, 3 yr old, and a 10 month old, it is [exciting!].The food was excellent, subtle, tasty, presentation was unique, but not so over the top ridiculous.We ordered quite an array of dishes, all were very fresh and well made.Our little angels also enjoyed themselves ❤️(Enjoy my pic of the girls, I couldn't find one from inside the restaurant ?)
I went here with a friend for a workday lunch about 11:30-12:30. Parking can be difficult at peak times but a couple circles of surrounding streets and I found a space. It was a gorgeous day so a three minute walk was nothing. It is a narrow/small restaurant, one side showcasing the bar and cooks and the other a bank of large windows. Seating options are bar, low top and high top tables. Nice and clean. There are clear covid guards up along the food prep and bar to separate workers from clients. The Bento boxes are only served at lunch and I can highly recommend the Unagi Teriyaki Bento Box. It comes with miso soup and a salad beforehand, then the box itself contains teriyaki unagi, white rice, spicy edamame, 3 pieces of sushi, sweet potato and broccoli tempura, fried scallops and gyoza. Yum! Staff was attentive without being fussy or pushy. The food was delicious and I will for sure come here again.
The BEST sushi and service I have had. So impressed by this restaurant. Definitely will come back!
If I could give this review zero stars I would. While the environment of Fuji is very nice, the food is terrible. My fiancé and I went to Fuji and ordered soup, lobster rangoons, and sushi. The food and service was mediocre at best. The sushi smelled weird and was really chewy. We could barely eat it. Despite paying a whole load of money, we came home hungry. To top it off, my fiancé woke up the next morning with food poisoning. So I guarantee the fish was not properly stored or prepared. We will NEVER go back here. Speaking as a former resident, there are so many other better sushi places in Quincy that cost half the price and won’t make you sick. Save yourself the trouble and do not eat here!!
Life is short. F.....it up! Family Flavor FriendsWent for a drink and some sushi appetizer. Yellow tail belly, Toro, Torched salmon belly. Prepared well extremely clean and flavorful! It give you that pause after the first bite..whoaaammmm
First, we got Siren’s Kiss, a shrimp, avocado and cucumber roll topped with scallops and black tobiko. This was delicious with a nice crunch and burst of tobiko flavor. Next, I got the Secret to Success which had spicy tuna and mango, topped with seared salmon and jalapeños. It was a perfect combo of seared salmon that just melted in your mouth with the spicy and savoriness of wasabi and tuna, loved it! To end our meal, we got a Chirashi bowl of assorted sashimi (tuna, salmon, and yellowtail) over a bed of rice. The sushi here is always A1 quality, hands down one of my favorite places to grab sushi. Try the Secret to Success if you haven’t already! You won’t be disappointed ?
Great vibe and flavor. Service was fast and polite. Bao was incredibly fresh and tasty. That said, I wish the portion were a bit larger. Definitely will go back soon.
Can’t recommend this place enough. Was sat at the sushi bar and was kind of disappointed they had no more table seating, but they quickly made it up. We were offered free food all night, even after we paid our bill and was about to leave. The smoked salmon rolls were the highlight of our night.I got the clay pot duck and rice dish and it was AMAZING. Such a simple dish but they knocked it out of the park. Cocktails were also fantastic.
Sushi bar is a great experience, they give you free sushi as you wait for your food, they let us try a smoked salmon sushi, some of the best I’ve tried. Entrees were delicious as well. Highly recommend checking this place out.
We love this spot! Clean and comfortable and the food is outstanding. We can’t get enough! Service is great as well
