Drink was good. Food was not. Calamari wasn't seasoned and was bland. Mentioned it to the bartender. Ordered the rack of lamb med rare and got a well done one instead. Sent it back to get remade and got one that was still raw. Got a drink taken off but charged for the lamb that I didn't even eat because the cooks just don't care and no quality control.
I found this place over the winter and have stopped in four times since. Consistently great service, food is good and a great beer selection. Parking can be tough but worth the effort.
Service was fine, and food as expected for a bar. Loss of a star since they ran the wrong amount on my card. It's not much so I'm not going to fight for it, but please be cautious how you put in the total plus tip, especially when the check is split. I'm thinking my friends total and mine got reversed!
The decor is very stylish and modern. The place isn't big but comfortable enough. Good atmosphere. Friday night was packed but sitting at a bar while waiting for a table is highly recommended.The house margarita was good and not expensive at all compared to others in and around Boston. The eggplant tower and tuna tartar were excellent and portions were very generous. Definitely want to try others in the menu.Staff was friendly and attentive.
Assembly is a perfect place to grab a great meal and watch a game. Atmosphere is terrific. Restaurant was very clean. Love the exposed brick and beams. Good place for larger groups. Menu had great choices along with the daily specials menu - many choices for a variety of eaters. Our server was terrific. We had a great time and highly recommend this establishment.
Ok, so I go to Assemble on occasion, tonight was one, the cauliflower app was really good, had a good flavor and a generous portion, I should have stopped there. To say I was disappointed in my salad you wouldn't be wrong. I had my favorite apple, goat cheese and chicken what's not to like? The chicken. When I have chicken I clean it really well, they did not, for some people that's not a big deal but for me it is?. Next time I'll stop at cauliflower.
Assembly has the best if both worlds. Excellent bar with a great selection and food that never disappoints. A place to bring your kids, to meet your friends after work for a drink, or a date. Swiss army restaurant.
Had 3 waitresses serve food. Two of the waitresses were professional however one was quite rude / unprofessional.The rude waitress was walking around with one of our orders trying to find the correct table, when we she walked by us, I asked whether the dish was waffle fries with steak, which was our dish, and she condescendingly and apathetically responded 'yeah, I don't know' and then walked away; only for another waitress to guide her back to our table eventually.Seems like a lot new staff still being trained; however this made for a poor experience for a restaurant that charges much.
Our friend Jeanne has been on the hunt for a Gilded Skull beer, and she found out that they're serving it at Assembly. We came by for a drink and apps... Was very crowded when we arrived, but service was still quick...I had the Minestrone bacon soup? and a gin martini ☺️
Great atmosphere, even better food.
