My husband and I are visiting Plymouth/Boston area for the first time. We picked Cabby Shack for our first meal in town.Hostess: she was OK.The table was clean but left very wet. It was so wet that the menus were stuck like glue to it.Waitress: sour attitude and terrible mannerisms.Food: it was your average-around-the-corner-fast food restaurant, just three times more expensive.Service overall: ??Why did we put up with that? One must keep the faith that things will get better. They didn’t.After finishing that overpriced fast food, we took a stroll around Plymouth. While on that, we met a nice local gentleman, and we asked him for restaurant recommendations. He certified that Cabby Shack is not that great. He recommended other nearby restaurants: Waterfront or Blue-Eyed Crab. We tried Waterfront for dinner. He was spot on!! But that’s another review. See you on the Waterfront page!

The decor was fun and this would be a great place to bring your kids. We split the half portion of the seafood platter, and still had food leftover. I got a piece of tiramisu to go. It was small but good. Find a pay to park spot, because they don't have their own lot.

Sunday afternoon at Cabby Shack. Arrived at the bar and sat down to a dirty bar. Asked bartender to please wipe it down and he responded that he just did. I pointed out rings from the previous customers and he took a napkin and wiped one little spot. I then had to point out other spots and finally he washed the whole area. We ordered our drinks and he delivered them, but you could tell his " nose was out of joint!" We had intended to eat dinner the there, but decided to move on. This is not the first time we have had issues with this restaurant. One, two, three strikes your out!!!

AWFUL. We went in today for a late lunch. Around 3pm. We waited 30min not bad, it cleared out when we got sat. ..but, The waitress took over 15 minutes to even greet us…(didn’t complain) a manager had noticed and had to come get our drink order and apologized. I think they gave me a virgin mudslide…it was a milkshake, my child could have drank it…my burger was still bloody asked for it well done. My husbands seafood was cold. And my daughter chicken fingers where raw…16$ for a kids finger plate, served on a cardboard box? Really? I understand the economy and inflation, but a kids plate?! …overall disappointed. We have been going here for years…today was our last time.

Went here with my family and Convention of States members. Food is very delicious. I had the Caesar salad with blackened shrimp and a side of sourdough bread. The staff kindly made me an off menu drink called a Mermaid Water. Beautiful views of the ocean and great location. Visitors to Plymouth must make this restaurant a must see stop!!

The food was good. I had a clam chowder bread bowl. Very thick clam chowder with good flavor. Husband had Reuben sandwich made with Haddock. He said it was very good. I can't say much for our service. We waited for someone to take our drink order for over 15 minutes. Another couple who came in after us kept looking around also. A waitress finally went to them to ask if they had been helped. When told no she took their order. She walked by our table and stopped to ask us. I told her no one had come by. She walked away and we sat there again. Finally a gentleman came and took our order. No one ever came back to see if we needed anything once our food arrived.

My wife got fish and chips which were o k, but small portion and over priced. I got crispy lobster poutine; very bad. Very little lobster and lousy gravy and over priced at 25$. Will not be back. Woods nearby is much better.

We went to enjoy the live music and had an absolute blast. My Alaskan king crab legs were the best I have had in a very long time. Music was great, food was great, and the service was great.

Very disappointing to say the least!! 21.00 for a scallop roll with chips! 5 small scallops really? Came in the smallest hot dog roll I’ve ever seen. The chowder had good flavor, but the potatoes were not cooked through. Waitress was good. Will not be back!

First time here. Tried the Clam chowder. Amazing. Must try that. Then i tried two different pizzas. The Steak and Eggs pizza and the Chicken Florentine pizza. Give those a try. Really good. Pictures are below.
