They are closed on Mondays but fortunately it was Patriots day so they were open that Monday. The service was ok could've been better since it wasn't that busy at that time of the day. Ordered a couple skinny Margaritas. They were really strong but good. The kids menu stuff was good for the kiddos. They regular menu is ok, typically non authentic Mexican restaurant menu. Order a sample platter. Nothing to write home about but it was good enough for a lunch. I may give then another try, if I find myself in that area again.
I went to Sam's on Saturday night with 2 friends, it was not extremely busy yet still has to wait for a table. After placing our drink order they still had not arrived 15 minutes later. The food was just ok although it was served hot. Unfortunatly the poor service and lack of attentive employees I doubt I would return for run of the mill food. Seemed like they just did not care....
Maybe I've been spoiled by really good Mexican food in the Greater Boston area, but man, was I disappointed in San Diego's tonight.I've been going to San Diego's for over 2 years now, and the Hyannis location is excellent. I've also been supporting the Plymouth location before covid because is a really fun spot to go to on Friday nights up on the second floor pool area.The chicken Tacos were completely bland. There was no flavoring on them and it tasted as if you were eating cooked, cut up plain chicken. Some cheese and tomato that wasn't melted. The carnitas were good however soaked in grease, to the point it was oozing out all over the other food. Beef seemed dried out.The street corn tasted Smokey, not sweet with contija that was really peppery.The guac was pasted and tasted like it was made from a "guac kit"... and not chunky at all. This was borderline purée lolI really want them to succeed and improve, and the service and ambiance is awesome. A few minor changes with the food and it will make a HUGE difference :)++ on the drinks too, frozen didn't seem as strong as others ?
The atmosphere is very homely makes a customer comfortable. The decor is vibrant and versatile;family vibes. the server was very kind and bubbly. The food however, or maybe just the specific dish I got was dry and tasteless.
Only reason for 4 stars is the service. Food is very good and margaritas even better. Servers are not good at all.

First meal in a restaurant in 2022. Was quiet and the service was excellent. Love the chips and salsa here. Never disappoints.
Very disappointed in the food. I got the Chimayo Chicken Chimichanga and it just didnt taste good. The chicken inside it was very plain and unseasoned. The guacamole tasted like cheap old guacamole paste. It did not taste even close to what fresh guacamole should taste. It tasted like a bad american version of mexican food.
