Very expensive for food that was not that great. I had the grilled ham with pineapple sandwich which was nothing more than a slice of deli ham with a few shredded pineapple on it. Disappointed. My friend had a non-discript non memorable chicken meal. With a milkshake it was almost $40! Only good thing was outside seating on a portion of the roof with a nice view.
This is one of the close restaurants to Plymouth's Pilgrim Memorial State Park. My autistic son enjoyed his usual plain cheeseburger, which had a soft homemade bun. Since we're near the ocean, my wife ordered the fried clam strips. There's a lot of batter to the clam strips, but delicious with the tartar sauce. If we had more time, we could've enjoyed their popular ice cream and smoothies like the Pebbles pineapple piña colada smoothie. Interesting to listen to 90s pop music in the background.
Out of half a dozen lobster rolls I've had in New England, this one takes the cake as the worst, by a long shot. It was reasonably priced, but that's about the only thing good I can say about it. The lobster was very chewy and tasted overcooked. It was also super cold, like it was pulled out of the freezer recently but hadn't completely thawed out. It wasn't diced up and mixed with Mayo to make a good lobster salad or anything. No butter flavor either. It was just cold, hard, chewy lobster on a toasted (kind of burnt) piece of bread. The sweet potato fries were also pretty boring and uninspiring. They are cash only but have an ATM nearby.Let's hope their desserts are better than their lobster.
Yes, it's conveniently located directly across the street from the Mayflower 2. And the menu looks appealing. However, the food was awful, service was slow, and it was expensive to add insult to injury. We ordered a grilled cheese sandwich, soda, and scoop of ice cream and the bill was $25+ (btw, they only accept cash). The sandwich literally had one thin slice of cheese on it that didn't even come close to reaching the edges of the bread. Definitely not worth the prices they're charging. There are many other restaurants in the area, wish we hadn't been in such a rush and walked a block or two to go anywhere else.
Amazing food and incredibly nice staff. Thank you for going the extra mile!
Fried Oreo sundaes are to die for. Great ice cream spot with a deck overlooking the harbor.
Absolutely amazing!I have never been here, there was one lone gentleman behind the counter taking orders and cooking simultaneously. He absolutely crushed it! Someone took my wife and I plate and no questions asked he remade us a fresh plate with a little extra. And to top it all off the food is delicious!
How do I say this in a nice way? $28 for a paper basket of 6 clams and 8 fries is would be fine if they had flavor and weren’t soggy. It’s also cash only so you can’t call your bank to cancel the charges.. don’t bother asking for a refill. Just come for the ice cream after clamming it up elsewhere.
We went to this cafe for lunch on a trip to Plymouth two days ago. We ordered fried clams and club sandwich. We found a dark short hair in the sandwich. I wanted to show the sandwich to the blonde, blue-eyed lady who took the order, without revealing the situation to other customers. But the lady suddenly overreacted. She said, "I can't see hair, moreover, my hair is not short and black." The funny thing is that she didn't prepare the sandwich anyway. She just brought the sandwich to the table. Male service personnel both work in the kitchen and serve the table. The hair that came out of the sandwich looked like his hair. The attitude and reaction of the cashier lady was extremely rude. Frustrated, she took the sandwich and threw it away. She accused us of lying about a $10 sandwich. However, I quietly wanted to explain the situation to her without ruining the appetites of other customers. When I asked for a refund due to her extreme reaction, she literally ignored me. The taste of the new sandwich was also very bad compared to the old one. We couldn't help thinking maybe they got angry and put stale chicken on the sandwich. I didn't eat the new sandwich anyway.
BBQ Cheeseburger, hotdog and fries. Oh my goodness. So much food. Great tasting. Wonderful staff.
