The worst experience ever. I spent $114.75 at Mamma Mia. A few days later, I checked my bank account and compared it with the receipt I had. I found out that Mamma Mia charged me $219.50, almost twice. I reached out to them, but they didn’t take an active attitude to deal with this issue. It was not one or two dollars but more than 100 dollars. Everyone makes mistakes. I understand it. But, the problem is they didn’t deal with their mistake quickly as if they charged extra dollars intentionally. If it was an unintentional mistake, they should have apologized first and managed this issue as quickly and actively as possible instead of making me wait and call them again. My family went to the U.S for my graduation ceremony. None of them can speak English. My family felt like the restaurant fooled us though I finally got a refund for the extra $104.75. I encourage people who plan to visit this restaurant to reconsider their visit. My family was disappointed at how some U.S people see us as pushovers.
Our first stop when we got to Plymouth for a late lunch. We ordered a small house special pizza, which fed us for 2 meals. Thin crust with fresh toppings. I probably would have ordered dessert, but noticed we were getting a parking ticket and that killed my mood. There are no meters on that side, and I didn't realize it was pay to park, ouch. Not the restaurant's fault but a sad welcome to town. So just be warned if you are visiting Plymouth, you have to pay to park before you spend money in town.
Disappointed with this restaurant. Used to be a sure bet. Two of us received our salads a full 5 minutes after the others in our party received theirs. We all only had salads. All of us ended up with portions of the iceberg lettuce core in our salads. Maybe it's just me but, I don't serve the core, I throw it away. Waitress picked up a glass by putting a finger INSIDE of it and then refilled it and brought back the same glass. Just a lot of sloppy events. This has been such a great place for so many years that we've come to expect better. Just a very off night for them.
Great hand tossed pizza. We had beer. Cocktails, and wine. Pepperoni amd sausage and a cheese. Large sizes. Menu also had other Italian dishes, plus chop suey, salads etc.
Love the bar, great view of the water. Bar staff are super friendly and on top of their game. I like the antipasto, pizza, and stuffed peppers, but you can't go wrong with this classic Italian establishment!Try a pistachio martini if you're really feeling frisky.
Absolutely phenomenal! Best pizza in the world! This pizza is not even on the menu created it just for me! Didn’t get to take a picture of the homemade spaghetti and meatballs that my husband had but they were absolutely amazing! A must visit!!
Had the garlic teriyaki wings and a sausage pizza. Both were DELICIOUS. The restaurant is nice, and our server was a real pro. We sat at a table with ocean views. Just a great place.
Always delicious and always busy. I would suggest calling ahead for reservations. The staff is very nice . Pizza is delicious from here. We get it to go when my son is in town. Never a bad meal. Great selection of wine and beer too.
My fiancé arranged for a surprise 60th birthday party for me at Mama Mia's last night. We had 26 people in attendance. The service was excellent, the food was awesome, the drinks were generous, and the upstairs "Tuscan Room" was very comfortable. We had a great time and highly recommend this restaurant.
I enjoy leaving positive reviews but I can’t here. Best thing there was the fries and the view. Everything else was mediocre at best. We tried the panini’s and everything was edible but not super flavorful. We were there around 2pm on a Monday so it was fairly empty yet service was slow and (Sabrina?) was downright rude. there was a weird chemically cleaning smell in the restaurant. No one on staff wore masks but maybe Plymouth isn’t requiring it anymore.
