Great food and drinks with awesome staff

Wonderful atmosphere, awesome server and all 5 meals were outstanding.

It's surprising so many people who live in Plymouth don't seem to know about Cafe Strega. It's been there for years - overlooking Brewster Gardens with an atrium dining room. Like other restaurants, prices here have escalated, making this one of the most expensive in town. (Sorry, but we can't justify paying $16 for a salad. Anywhere.) Strega's reliability is also part of its problem - the place looks and feels dated, the menu is a bit stale, and the ambience - i.e. an endless loop of the same "Volare"-style music - could use a makeover. But the food is still good, and the managers are warm and friendly. Keeping a restaurant up and running with solid standards for so long is a major feat.

Great food, friendly service.

Food was spectacular. Service was very professional, Great date night out. We can't wait to go back.

Three restuarant was packed so we're ste at the bar. What a terrific experience. Super friendly patrons. Kate was very engaging and exuberant. Eggplant manicotti special was over the top. Finished with a cappuccino and sambuca.

If you want real Italian food DO NOT go here. It was one of the worse restaurants I have eaten at. It was our wedding anniversary and I wanted to go somewhere nice, yeah right! As soon as we walked in, it smelled horrible, like old smelly cheese. We were seated right away, needed to wait 10 minutes for our waiter. He was apologetic since it was extremely busy.Appetizer: scallops w/ asparagus. The scallops were over cooked and rubbery. Asparagus not even cooked. It was definitely microwaved to heat the food… rating: 00My dinner: chicken saltimbocca.??. Another microwaved dish. A flat piece of chicken with one piece of American cheese and prosciutto in a bland ,I think it was Marsala sauce. Rating00000Husband: steak with risotto ??. The steak was covered in a thick brown sauce, topped with 2 shrimp. The steak was all gristle and of course it was over cooked. The risotto, not sure how to explain this. It was like it was left over in a pot over night, dropped on the floor and then heated back up. Rating:0000000. Basically the only good thing about our meal was the bread and wine. We were so disappointed we left right away and we were looking forward to eating here. No wonder why they keep the lighting down, so you can’t see what’s in front of you!.

Always a great experience - fantastic food and drinks, wait staff, and atmosphere. Best to make reservations during peak hours.

Horrible! Visiting and wanted an authentic Italian meal. If you want cold frozen recooked meal, you are better off going to Olive Garden at 102 Colony Pl. At least you know the food you're getting and for the better price. The atmosphere was nice, but the food was horrible.

Celebrating a birthday tonite at Strega, Greeted promptly upon entering and seated at our designated reservation time. Our waitress was ready to take our drink and appetizer orders,3 orders of the house favorite "meatballs "did not disappoint, the brussetta was another appetizer that was also enjoyed, Each entree ordered was better than the next..from the chicken parm to the rich seafood and pasta dishes not a single complaint from anyone at this table. NO NEED TO DRIVE INTO BOSTON FOR DELICIOUS ITALIAN CUISINE.
